BOXING IS ALL ABOUT RACISM... ITS ABOUT NATIONAL PRIDE, ITS THE REASON THESE BOARDS ARE FILLED WITH FILIPINO FIGHT FANS AS WE SPEAK. ITS the reason that Joe Louis was called the peoples champ. WHAT PEOPLE YOU MAY ASK?? BLACK PEOPLE.

There is a reason people call mickey ward "IRISH MICKEY WARD" Stop acting as if boxing is simply about you liking a fighter. If you do thats fine and dandy, but boxing has and always will be a racist sport. When Bernard Hopkins stated he wasnt going to let a white boy beat him, he meant it... Because I notice that blacks speak their mind in boxing. As Floyd asked how big would I be if I was white???

BOXING IS RACISM AT ITS FINEST!!!

LOOK AT THE KLITSCHO FANS, A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT LIVE IN EUROPE ADORE THEM BROTHERS AND THEY SHOULD ....

AM I saying everyone has to be racist, in all honesty no I am not, but the truth of the matter is we all know why Floyd gets so much hate from the masses.

CASE AND POINT ALLEGEDLY FLOYD BEAT HIS CHILDREN'S MOTHER. "ALLEGEDLY" SOMEONE THAT HAS BEEN CAUGHT LYING BEFORE.....

OSCAR ADMITS HES AN ALCOHOLIC , ADULTERER (SLEEPS WITH STRIPPERS) AND A ******* HEAD, AND A CROSS DRESSER AND WHAT DOES THE BOXING WORLD DO?? The masses simply pray for him!!!!!

Pacquiao sleeps with hookers and fathers children outside of his religious systems values, and was on drugs, and what do people do?? THEY PRAY FOR HIM....

BHOP STATES HE WILL NEVER LET A WHITE BOY BEAT HIM, AND HE GETS CRUCIFIED.

THE MERE FACT THAT THE HUMAN RACE IS SEPARATED BY DIFFERENT FLAGS/NATIONS SHOULD HIP PEOPLE TO THIS. I remember watching a floyd fight in the olympics and you have the announcers talking about floyd sr being a crack dealer. Was Floyd sr in the ring?? NO, Was he at the fight?? NOPE, Why was he being talked about again??

Go back just 7 years ago and there were not as many filipino fight fans!!! Go back and mexicans were like floyd is gonna get his ass beat, just as they are doing now for ortiz..... Now again some people transcend and dont make it racist, but at the end of the day, most people will cheer for their own, and to me thats normal!!!

I want people to stop acting like ******s as if its some secret that boxing is built off racism, if Valero was alive today there would be many of his country men rooting for him if he was fighting Pacquiao.

SO IN ALL HONESTY PEOPLE FOLLOW BOXING BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY ITS A PRIDE THING AS WELL. HOW ELSE DO YOU THINK PEOPLE LIKE BHOP CAN SAY FLOYD IS A STEP AND FETCH?

EVERY RACE WANTS TO BE PERCEIVED AS A WINNER. JUST AS THE OLYMPICS ARE BASED UPON NATIONAL PRIDE...

I CAN PROMISE YOU IF MANY HAD THEY WAY THEY WOULD HAVE PREFERRED CARL LOUIS TO BE WHITE. Just as many would prefer the klitschos be black.

NO ONE HAS TO AGREE, BUT DEEP DOWN MUH****AS KNOW ITS REAL TALK....

Somewhere along the line you've confused national pride with racism.

In the UK you will find millions upon millions of white people supporting a black fighter, this is racist to you?

Damn shame it happened that way. I had Zaveck winning by a round, and Berto didn't exactly look like he was coming on. I would love to see a rematch, it sucks Zaveck lost his belt that way.

If it would not be for an - probably accidental - headbut, Zaveck would of won this fight in the next few rounds. It was his plan to open up in the second half of the fight and frankly, it was obvious that he was a better fighter in this fight.

But that is boxing, i guess. Berto's constant head-jumping-in aswell as Zaveck's high guard and boxing from a close distance, did not help to a situation. Anyway, at least i see why some top fighters do not want to fight against Berto - it is simply, too risky. I do think that Zaveck did not deserve this, but i think that his time is still to come. He has probably came out of this fight, stronger than ever.

Who said that it was a headbutt? Wasn't no headbutt. Them cuts came from Berto connecting on Zaveck face throughout them 5 rounds. Not once did Jan complain about a headbutt or the referree. Berto did damage on homie's face bottomline.

Ok, now I see it in slow motion about the head butts. Zaveck should have complained. Watching the fight in regular speed, you would never know.

Nah, he has already said that he will not do it. He is a fair and big hearted fighter, who does not search for excuses - even though, everyone can see that he did not get bloody, from the punches. Of course, after major damage was done by a headbut, it was just getting worse and worse. He could not see anything on one of his eyes, since the blood was going into it very quickly, as he said.

If referee has "failed to see it", at least Zaveck's corner did. This was a smart stoppage, from them. Even though there is a slight chance that Zaveck could of recovered, it would not be even close to a fair fight, after his face became a bloody mess in one minute.

plus the other Gif clearly show Zavec having a clean face/eye and as soon as the headbutt lands he cringes in pain and his face swells up like crazy. I have never seen that happen from a punch so fast. With a punch it will create a cut and then a fighter works a cut until the blood streams down like crazy (like the one on his eyebrow, that was from a punch), but it wasnt the one on his eyebrow that stopped the fight, his whole eye balooned up after that headbutt and it took like 20 seconds to reach that stage. I think Berto broke his nose with the headbutt and got a piece of the eye/cheeck.

Very sad, Berto was already tired by round #4. He was gasping for air and walking slow to the corner, Zaveck landed more shots and the heavier shots as berto was open. Berto did have some combinations but Zaveks game plan was to take Berto deep and then put the pressure on him.

Everyone could tell Berto wasnt going to make it to the 12th round, he already had his hands down and mouth wide open.

and Jan isnt the type of guy to complain, he will never say anything bad about anyone, even if you rob him he will still treat you nicely. HBO guys said he was the nicest boxer they have met.

yeah i thought zaveck was biding his time abit and was about to come on stronger in the second half pity we never got to see that because it looked like it could have become a really good fight

berto really doesn't impress me much other than his willingness to let his hands go i think a more seasoned fighter with some speed and power would take him to school

infact i go as far as to say that if he fought shane when he was supposed to mosley would have adminstered a savage beating on him

i don't much like him but he is exciting to watch and i'll be checking for his next fight for sure

hope zaveck can get more exposure on HBO he deserves it (it won't happen though)
