Berto didn't looke great, and Zavec was putting in good work, landing solid shots. It was looking like it was heading towards a tougher fight for Berto in the later rounds and would have been a true test for him. The way it ended still left question as to what Berto has learned from his loss, but at least his willing to take on tough compatition, which for Berto is a step in the right direction.

Ok we get it, he's not sugar ray. He probably couldn't beat floyd or manny. Great, who is and who can.

The man throws bombs and gets hit. Enjoy the show. Fine he clinches but out of those clinches comes huge uppercuts. He gives and takes.

I for one was excited again. Sucks that it ended that way but it was an all action fight from the jump

Berto looked so ordinary I've lost the little faith I had in Ortiz doing anything against Floyd.

I think Zaveck is due a rematch as well with the head first approach to grappling that Berto has

It looked like it could have been an intriguing second half of the fight

Get real, Berto by round 4 had his mouth wide open, hands down and kept hugging. When he went back to corner he walked real slow and was gasping for air. Zavec had his mouth closed and had energy. Berto headbutted him, punches dont create swelling like that in 30 seconds, the punch that caused a cut was on his eyebrow and corner managed it. Berto intentionally or not headbutted him and HBO failed to ignore it.

Plus HBO was shady, they gave Zavec first round then said berto won all 3 but end of 4th had it 39-37 Zavec, wtf?

and Berto didnt land anything except "Flashy Flash" punches that didnt hurt Jan, while berto was eating clean shots all night , heres some PROOF:
