His bodywork was better than in the past. He always used to head hunt. His defense is still terrible and he gets hit too much. Its frustrating because he can jab and set things up but he doesnt. He jumps in and then stays close wide open for an uppercut. His combinations were impressive at times. What he does when he is not punching is the biggest issue.
This , Idk how people missed his body work. He was throwing thudding body shots that were hurting , you could tell by the 4th round break when he sad down the body punches were hurting . Dude is tough and andre was looking quite winded although his last round he did appear to be catching second wind.
He was also throwing body -head combos, right hook to the body right uppercut, jab to the stomach then head. Ive never seen him throw that many body shots combined in all his fights.Comment

i honestly think zaveck deserves a rematch, he was doing pretty good those last couple of rounds. that, or i'd like to see him fight more top WWs. as for berto, he didn't redeem himself cause it was a short and pretty close fight imo. i think he needs more fights for us to be able to answer this.Comment

it sucks how this ended, now we're gonna be left guessing with endless debate. kinda like vitali-lewis.
but i think overall berto hasn't really proved much. it's a win i give props but he hasn't really shown anything new except he can **** which we already know. zavec's defense made berto useless.
floyd would pick him apart.Comment

Berto fought well. Entertaining. He gained respect with me.
What will his next step be? No more soft touches. He needs to face Ortiz again. Mike Jones would also be a good fight.Comment

the plan was to wear berto down, not giving in to his fast combos. it worked perfectly. zavec looked pretty good until that swelling kicked in. remember he needed a ko so he had to gas berto out before attempting a full time assault.
wanna see punch stats for this...Comment
