Not just his footwork but his whole sense of maintaining distance, which would be improved mightily by a more assertive jab. At the moment he just lets fighters do what they want to him, and covers up by way of defence. It's worked thus far, due to his power, but that doesn't mean it's always going to work and Arreola will really bust Hellboy up if he lets him. Nips isn't an amazing fighter but it would be a mistake to let him build up steam.

Definitely. Thing is, Helenius actually has a pretty good jab but he doesn't throw it with commitment enough of the time. He'll just resort to sort of pawing it or sticking it out there like a fat chick throwing a boxercise punch. It's not a technique issue so much as a concentration and urgency issue.

Helenius at this point has beaten the better opponents and is on a roll. Chris seems to have rededicated himself and has come into his last few fights in better condition. Both guys are tough and can ****. I'd give the power edge to Helenius and the toughness edge to Arreola, though that's still a bit of a question mark around Helenius.

Arreola is one of the more aggressive combination punchers in the division, and Helenius has traditionally started slowly. However, he possesses sneaky power and tends to come on very strongly later in the fight.

If Nips keeps the pressure on in the early going he might build a substantial points lead or even hurt Helenius, though given how badly his face puffs up I'd expect him to be very much the worse for wear if this goes beyond eight.

I'd personally go for Helenius, as I think his confidence is sky high at the moment whilst Arreola is in the rebuilding phase after suffering two losses to Adamek and Vitali.

        What do you think?
BRILLIANT FIGHT SUGGESTION! HBO should give you a job to bring back the popularity to the heavyweight division! the only problem is HBO doesn't want to get behind any european fighters (for one reason or another). REAL FANS don't care where a fighter is from - if he performs and gives us what we want, we will constantly tune back in to watch him.

I gotta take some time to think about this fight before I give a serious breakdown. But all I can say is off the top of my head is: CRACKER OF A FIGHT! I can't see it coming down to both standing in the center of the ring trading blows - neither man would want to back down, nor give an inch. Im thinking HELENIUS ultimately takes it, because of his reach and straight punches
