He wants to fight toe to toe for the rest of his career because he wants to give the fans a more entertaining fight. Like Floyd said... he can fight toe to toe with anyone, but do it a smart way and not take punishment because he won't be trading punch for punch.

Floyd will do the same to Ortiz like he did to Mosley. Ortiz better be prepared to fight backwards.

Zab Judah has had a stamina problem since Baldomir and never got it back...Ortiz won't tire like that. Mayweather doesn't like pressure or getting hit and backs off and waits for his opponents to tire. Oscar was an over the hill part-time boxer for years at that point...a bit like Mayweather is now...a part-time boxer who shows up for a big pay day once in a while.

HAHA....good point. Floyd couldn't perform those pull-counter moves without a degree of foot speed and movement. Floyd is not going to take any more damage than he has to, he is going to be the same Floyd doing the same things.

With Ortiz i actually think that wouldn't be much of a problem, he would beat him the same way he beat Hatton. Pot shots, counters, slight movement ect. Ortiz is tough, big/aggressive and is actually one of the best hitters in boxing right now, but he doesn't give you that many looks and doesn't have an effective jab to get close on a regular basis. Floyd wouldn't want to use this style on Pacquaio though, he is too high energy and would make him work in those dull moments (like when he on the ropes) and it would take a few rounds for him to completely adjust.
