Given the problems Manny had with JMM and given floyd is faster and a better boxer than JMM, why would you expect Manny to win if they fight? Just curious.

manny is not slower than floyd, their speed is very close, theres no telling who is faster than the other until they both fight eachother thats why i want this fight to happen because their both at the top of their game right now and that's my honest opinion, im not saying floyd is slower than manny because he's not but manny is not slower than floyd either. and u cant say manny has problem with marquez, their last fight was in 08, manny is not the same boxer as he was in 08. when the fight happens and it still shows that marquez gives manny problem then yes u can say that now. why i think manny is gonna win against floyd? simple, when is the last time u see manny hurt?

as in getting knock down, blooded up? been a while right, i just cant see floyd hurting manny, and if u cant hurt him u wont beat him. its not like manny's stamina is questionable, because we all know manny can go for 20 rounds if he wants to so if floyd cant hurt manny how is he gonna beat manny? i know what your gonna say already, floyd is gonna out work manny. as if manny wont be able to land a single punch to floyd? see thats what u guys fail to admit is that manny's accurancy is just as good as floyd if not even better. Let me ask u this, who do u think has more power? floyd or manny? if floyd hit manny 10 times in a round and manny hit floyd 5 times only and this goes on for 6-7 rounds who do u think is gonna feel the damage more? the guy with the less power right? and who would that guy be?

IMO, You can not honestly answer this question until Pac fights JMM again to accurately see if Pac has improved vs defensive counter punchers. A style that Mayweather is one of the best if not the best at.

Pacs recent hand selected recycled in house opposition would not correctly validate that Pac has gotten any better vs defenisve counter punchers. "Styles make fights" and none of the fighters Pac has selected reflect that style. Non other than JMM who Pac last fought in 2008.

So like I've been saying unless Pac KO's JMM very early; he will
A. be looked at as getting old
B. Still not being able to handle defensive counter punchers
C. All the above.

Any difficulty shown from Pac (especially at WW) vs the LW JMM will not be good for Pac and would give you an aswer to your question.

I just asked indolifer because it would seem floyd's style, coupled with his speed "on paper" gives manny real problems. Also, his reach is significantly longer than JMM's.
I think floyd's reach is the x factor.

if u put manny against tyson and manny is landing 30 punches in a round while tyson only land 5 but every punch that tyson land is making manny more weak, hurt and exhausted, what do u think is gonna happen? the weaker guy is gonna get KO or lose and thats what i see when floyd fight manny. yes i know power doesnt always get u the win, but u have to see that manny is not just some chump that wont be able to hit floyd. if any of floyds pass opponents can land im sure it wont be hard for manny to find floyd.

exactly! on paper floyd outwork manny but when they fight its not gonna be based on what it says on the paper. punches that land will be real and u will be able to feel it LOL.. lakers have a perfect record one year until they play against one of the weakest team and got beat that night. how did that happen? everything it says on paper for the lakers is untouchable and u would assume that they would murder the weakest team but instead they lost. u see u cant always bet on what it says on paper.
