Here he goes again, every single Floyd fight since these guys fought we get the same interview from Oscar "I fought him, I've been giving advice, he can do it". Oscar, you didnt win, you didnt have any more success with Floyd than any of his other opponents, your advise means nothing - get over yourself.

NO SUCCESS? Correct me if I'm wrong but Oscar is the only fighter to have fought Floyd and take him to anything other than a UD, TKO, or KO. How is that not having any success? I will give you that we have read this interview quite a few times, but I mean come on what do you want Oscar to say...I lost to Floyd so I'm not going to say anything. The 12 rounds I fought against PBF didn't mean anything, and I took nothing away and learned nothing from that fight. I MEAN REALLY DUDE...just because he lost doesnt mean he didnt learn anything from the fight. FLOYD IS NOT GOD!!!!

The fact remains, Sr trained Jr for 16 years and taught him the basics while Rodger refined it. This is facts. Not what "posters" say in some hate thread about Sr. Sr and Rodger are creditable for Mayweather being as great as he is. Floyd even admits this yet gives more to Rodger as he has worked with him longer.

FACT is that during those 16 years floyd wasnt a pro and is where he is at now.

FACT is that if hatton wanted to fight like floyd because floyd's been in his mind like u put it then he would have went and ask roger the trainer of floyd. If it werent for sr then floyd would have never been born yes so i'll give that to sr, BUT it was roger who taught floyd what he knows today not sr and thats FACT!

I guess it depends on what you consider "toe to toe". If he stands there and trades punches with Ortiz, in a "you hit me, I hit you, let's see who falls first" sort of way, then yeah, Mayweather will probably lose.

But that's not boxing, now is it?

If he meets Victor in the middle of the ring, makes him miss, and counters effectively, then tough ****. He's right there in front of you.... hit him.

IDK whats gonna happen in the fight and i could careless who comes out on top. all im saying is whatever oscar is telling ortiz some of the stuff he says could be useful for ortiz, why? because oscar's been in the ring with floyd so he should know what to expect, its up to ortiz to execute it.. like i said its no different from any trainer telling their fighter what to do or the members on here voicing out their opinion on what ortiz should do.

Floyd was a medalists in the olympics, who taught Floyd how to box early on to achieve such a thing? Floyd had to learn the basics from somebody.....

Hatton went to Sr (the father of Floyd and former trainer of Hoya) to learn how to "box" just like Floyd jr. Remember now, Hatton was just starting this new idea of "boxing" just like Floyd had done some many years ago with (you guessed it) Sr....

Hatton wanted to be like Floyd Mayweather, so much that he hired his father to learn how to "box". He was mentally f**Ked in the head, fighters don't cry for weeks on end because of nothing.

Bottom line:
Hatton + 1st loss KO by his hero + hiring Sr and firing his team = a mentally f**ked fighter. Sadly, Alcohol and coke was on the herizon for the former undefeated Champ.
