Just read a report that the CW issue and the weigh in the same day of the fight limiting Margo to 160 has been resolved.

The network putiing up the money for the fight steeped in and the Cotto team was faced with taking the fight or taking a lesser opponent for much less money.

If it gets confirmed it is a biatch move by Cotto's team

Yeah and some diluted posters say that the 1 pound difference is to show that Cotto calls the shots... Margarito doesn't care who calls the shots.He just wants to fight. Cotto's team need a confidence boost and you can see they are reaching for anything that they might call an advantage. Margarito must feel a lot better knowing that he still makes them feel unconfortable and has nothing to do with what's in his fists but how big and strong he is for Cotto.

there are no shots to call. From all accounts everything was agreed upon and in place then his team (not sure of it's Cotto and I have my doubts) came to TR and Margarito's team with the stips. Margarito's team told TR no fight so they went back to Cotto's team and told them that the fight won't happen with those stips in place. The main one being the weigh in the day of the fight.

in all honesty if anyone was calling the shots those stips would have been take it or leave it
