Sergio Diaz, the manager for Antonio Margarito (38-7, 27KOs), has advised BoxingScene.com that a deal was finally reached for a rematch with WBA 154-pound champion Miguel Cotto (36-2, 29KOs). The fight is going to take place on December 3rd in New York's Madison Square Garden. During the last few days, there was controversy because Cotto's team, according to Diaz, was demanding a catch-weight of 150-pounds and a second weigh-in on the day of the fight with an additional weight requirement for Margarito.
