    a hook from front arm.

    if you take the velocity x mass as outlet of power left hook will usually be the winner as it developes the most velocity while utilizing the most of mass.

        I think a hybrid straight/hook can generate the most power. Like a 20 degree angle maybe. . . You can fully turn your body into, and add leverage from the "hooking" motion.

              It's different for everyone. wouldn't rely on a simple formula. So many genetic combinations that come into account.

                It's still a very under utilized punch too. It's the easiest punch to channel your entire body weight into because of your legs' spring action.
                i agree......

                one thing more..an uppercut gets more impact due to the dead weight of the opponent hit with it..more so if plush on the chin..

                  Personally i think hook

                  But different fighters are better at throwing some punches than others.....

                  some can throw huge uppercuts compared to their hooks etc
