That's common knowledge I know that, what of it? He still fought in an orthodox stance where there's more distance in his right hand. What about Ward, Frazier, Trinidad, Lacy, Cotto (the whole accident thing made him ambidextrous but still), Morrison, Tyson, Tua, Liston, Ruddock, etc. Hell some say Robinson's best punch was his left hook, although it's tough to say because he had power in both hands.Comment

It really depends on how you work out and hit the pads/bags. Why do you think Zab has such a ******edly strong uppercut? It's because if you see his dad do pads with him, he stands there with the pad going "UPPERCUT! UPPERCUT!... UPPERCUT! NOW UPPERCUT! GOOD... UPPERCUT! GREAT! NOW UPPERCUT!" ..and then they smoke blunts, get drunk, and assault some fools, but that's another story.Comment

Physics wise?
The Uppercut.
It's still a very under utilized punch too. It's the easiest punch to channel your entire body weight into because of your legs' spring action.Comment

actually a cross is the most powerful punch. Hooks are easier to get a ko with cuz they are easier to land on the side of the chin. Which makes hooks a better ko shot. When you measure punches a cross is a lot more powerful but when a cross lands it usually lands straight on the forehead/mouth/face and usually just pushes your head back. Also a cross is easier to block/dodge and easier to see, while a hook comes from a weird angle and your Peripheral vision have a harder time to react to a hook.Comment
