    Floyd is overrated by many!

Not his talent, not his accomplishments at 130...

but his accomplishments in the last 3 years!
    He did NOTHING!

WTF? Floyd knew he wasn't a big draw. His whole career was judged by fighting on undercards. Gatti is a MAIN EVENT fighter so he went after him because hes old, slow, and shot. PBF is light years ahead of Gatti in every single way, except for power.

Floyd gained tons of fans and interest because of the Gatti. If you don't understand this then stop watching boxing. Floyd is a businessman don't forget...not just a fighter.

Floyd won't take an easy way out. He's going to fight a Judah or Hatton after Sharmba. Why else would he fight Sharmba? He wants to test out hi speed / power at 147 and against a slick southpaw (like Judah).
How is Gatti a PPV fighter?? That was his first and probably only PPV. The only reason that fight happened is b/c Gatti wanted it to. He had the balls to fight Mayweather(Who I thought he could beat or at least give out as much as he was getting) instead of vacanting his belt. I honestly think he did not gain too many more fans and if he did he'll lose them by fighting Mitchell.

For the amount Floyd talks he should be out there fighting anybody anywhere, money shouldnt matter. If floyd says hes the best then go fight hatton in england. Hell KT was the undisputed champ at 140 and went to england. Now Hatton is the champ at 140 so pbf should go anywhere and fight. But he wont, he'll beat Mitchell, fight Witter and win a close fight then move up to 147 beat a few guys in the top 20 there and eventually fight Judah, b/c Judah wont let him run forever

Again pbf is great at 130/135. but when he starts movin up he is pickin his match ups very carefully RJJ style.
If this is who you guys want your p4p #1 to be fine, but im not impressed. Yes pbf has great skills but until he takes on the big fish I wont care, go back to 135, nobody watches u anyway. How long ago did those tickets go on sale for the pbf mitchell fight??? Who knows but lets see how fast they go compared to Gatti, which sold out in 12 hrs practicly.

In the end you guys now where im at, you forget Gatti has the chance to be a 3 time champ too. and hes doin the same as PBF, hes pickin is opponets carefully too.

So much hostility little man lol.

So lets see here, PBF got a lot more fans by beating an old, slow, shot fighter that is no where near his skill level as you put it, ok i see.

Your totally just contradicting yourself. What makes a PPV fighter? If your good, OR if you sell tickets? Gatti sold the fight like you said, so that doesn't make him a PPV fighter.

              Idiot...

haha i dont think so b/c u brought up a good question. Gatti is a very popular draw, yes?? hes been so for the last decade but the reason this was a ppv was to give Gatti so extra $ b/c he is at the end of his career. Being a PPV fighter means u r internationally known like a De La Hoya. Gatti is a cult. If he was a PPV fighter he would have been gettin em 5 or ten yrs ago. Gatti will sell out anywhere he fight, but that doesnt mean ppl will pay 50 $ to see it on TV.

Again the fight was PPV to give Gatti some xtra dough at the end of his career( hes got 4-6 left and will be a 3 time champ) and for Pbf to get some recognition but pbf seems to be pissing it all away by fighting mitchell, cmon do boxing fans really give a **** about this fight??? for pbf fans you can not defend this fight, more the amount of **** pbf talks he should be fighting ppl better. At least when its time to throw down Gatti will (Manfreddy, De La Hoya, Mayweather) he might not win but he will give the fans the match ups they want to see. But then again does it really matter who Gatti fights??

Talk about Gatti being old and shot.... DelaHoya should have retired after Vargas.... Mayweather will not fight delahoya, if he does, its for the money, Floyd is a business man.; but he will fight hatton and Judah. And that wasnt Gattis first ppv.

i hope the winner of judah-tzsyu and mayweather-mitchell meet up, but wouldnt that **** be wack if both tzsyu and mitchell won settin up a third match, i wouldnt mind seein tzsyu vs floyd, and maybe even judah vs mitchell if he does beat floyd which is doubtful but not impossible, but judah and mayweather is the fight everyone wants to see...cant wait...

Too all who are discrediting DLH, you are all haters. I don't like him b/c he makes an excuse even when he wins a fight. "I hurt my hand during training". "I had the flu", but he is no doubt a hall of famer. The difference between him and mayweather is that DLH fought the best starting his 21st fight. He fought very good fighters and several legends. How many has Mayweather fought? Common give credit to where credit is due.

I am not sure wether a well-seasoned, older slower DLH should fight PBF. Lets see how he performs against Mayorga.
