Hearns falls short in his big fights more often than not, I wold have to think Tito,Hopkins and Mayweather would all give him him tough fights. for different reasons. Hopkins because he can take his fire and most likely would muck up Hearns plans, Mayweather would have to really focus on fighting inside and Tito well he would have to go balls out to knock Hearns out it would be a race to see who got who in the end.

Not to say Hearns couldn't win or wouldn't be favored but he is a hard guy to really count on to just win a big fight.

Oh and I love Tommy Hearns, a nice guy met him a few times.

Most people seem to think that Hearns would beat everyone but Hopkins. Makes you wonder what might be said of Leonard versus the same guys. That would be a topic for another thread....

I believe he would beat all with the exception of Hopkins at 160. Those saying Hearns "easily beats Hopkins" clearly know very little about the middleweight versions of either Hearns or Hopkins.

He happened to fall in love with his power, which caused him to neglect his boxing ability.

His advantage in a fight with Hearns would be that he was an instinctive left hooker, and always threw the instant he felt an opportunity. I believe that he felt it before he saw it. A good example is the first rd with Vargas.

And I believe that like Hearns' KO from Barkley, he would only need ONE punch.
When exactly did Trinidad find it "necessary" to outbox his opponent? I'll wait for you to name that opponent who forced him to do this. Trinidad "fell in love with his power" because he went 40-0 using it.

fully aware of this. shane would be fighting a boxer in hearns which isnt good for shane. if anyone goes the distance it would be floyd first, then shane. not saying he couldnt ko them and im not basing it on chin. im talking floyds defense alone gives him the likely hood of making it to the end. i think floyd would have the best chance going the distance. but tito and pac would def get ko

Yes Hearns and as a big PBF fan Hearns toughest fight would be against
                  B-Hop.

People believe the "Hearns had a glass chin" stuff without ever looking at just who stopped him.
