just by the simple fact that he fought Mayorga tells us he is way past his best days.

I wouldn't say cotto is shot but he is definitely acting like a shot boxer

that's what i thought, but i don't know how mayo's shot. in that fight, he was what he's always been maybe not prime but no shot to pieces either. shane looked like **** against him too before he went on to baptize rito.

Boxers generally get worse over the time especially fighters like Cotto, Margarito and Mayorga who have been in their fair-share of wars. Your body can only take so much. Not everyone's a bhop or Klitschko and has a defense that can give them a long-lasting career.

Mayorga punch resistance had deteriorated. Speed ain't there like it used to be. He's shot to pieces. Beyond shot.

Mosley has always looked like crap at 154 except for the Vargas fight(who at the time was shot as well)

Also Mosley like all great fighters had one last hurrah against margarito. His fights pre and post Marg prove that.

For Mayorga to be competitive against Cotto. Just shows how little bit Cotto has left.

Cotto still has a few good years to turn things around. i don't understand why he gets so much hate around here. quality boxer.

as for the mayorga fight, mayorga is always hard to put away and miguel hardly ever finishes his opponents early so it went as i expected.
