I feel Hopkins has a better IQ because of the fact that in nearly every fight, he's at a disadvantage - his opponent has better power, speed, footwork etc. yet Hopkins adapts to what he's up against and still wins whereas Mayweather is advantaged in being naturally athletic

floyd is on another stratosphere. at first i though hopkins though b/c he doesnt have floyds physical gifts. but i say floyd for sure b/c, well he has never lost. bhop is a smart fighter who makes gameplans to beat these young guns. still floyd just whoops everybody most fights are not even close.... Hopkins by a mile. Floyd needs to ask Roger first.

B Hop, but Floyd is more naturally gifted.

Pretty much. A good chunk of the guys he fights are younger, faster, and stronger than he is and he still makes them fight at the pace he wants.

Now THIS is a challenge. Bhops vast experience and the fact that he has less physical gifts than Floyd make him quite the foe when it comes to Ring IQ. However, Floyd's ability to adapt, no matter the style, gives him the edge here.

damn that a tough one to pick man I would go with hops because he is less gifted then Floyd and Jones so he relies less on natural skills and more on the mental part of the game

I'd say they're equal...But you'd have to place it between their opponents. Who overcame and adjusted better to certain styles, stances, power, speed, etc.?
