Who has the greater "Ring IQ"?

I was on the road last night and peeped this thread on my phone....I don't post from my phone so I couldn't wait to get home to jump in this thread

now....B.Hop once said Floyd was more a multi-talented than he was....which is true!!!....but as far as ring smarts go.....wisdom comes with age and experience....both go about their work in a similiar fashion imo....IMO B.Hop had to study more than Floyd did....B.Hop wasn't born into the sport....B.Hop wasn't groomed for mega-fights.....he had to learn these things....with Floyd you can name fighters he ducked or didnt fight....with B.Hop thats not the case....B.Hop challenged himself far more than Floyd or Manny...yall 2 p4p divas....anyway, imagine B.Hop retiring for a few years to avoid JT....and then quittin again after Winky to avoid Calzaghe....imagine B.Hop going up to LHW to challenge Tarver for the belt at a catchweight...imagine that weak ****

B.Hop and Floyd are both special fighters imo....but its kinda obvious B.Hop has tested his skills against tougher comp than Floyd....it is what it is

I've watched almost all of B-Hop's fights, I would say their even in that department, same with skill set in my opinion. Hopkins even said this on video, he said Mayweather's ring IQ is as high as his.

I think Bernard's is more evident but that's because he needs it more than Floyd, still young and physically very talented.

That's not to say Floyd CAN'T be as intelligent in the ring, but that Bernard is routinely the smarter fighter.

He's winning purely on intelligence, he's a lot older now, stamina ain't what it once was, the fact that he's able to compete at this stage is a testament to how smart of a boxer Hopkins is. That said, I also believe that Mayweather, if he decides to, will be able to compete with the best of them in his early 40s.

His only losses came at the age of 40 or more besides Roy Jones. Bhop has also challenged himself more imo

Bhop lost his first fight which was years before he lost to Roy.

floyd has athleticism on his side, like roy, if they see something they can do it no sweat
wait till he's 40 and then lets see how he closes the gap between him and his opponents and whatnot when he realises he doesn't have the reflexes for quick counters or the legs for a weighted pull counter

Floyd of-course.Floyd is way more Versatile and is better at adapting to a fighters style.Hops could not adapt to a mediocre Jermaine Taylor who threw his punches wide.

This same thing can be said about Floyd.
