You were presented with a comparison between Floyd's and Pac's achievements in WW especially with regards to common opponents. The records clearly favors Pac. He is a smaller fighter competing with bigger guys and yet he out performed Floyd overall. That accomplishment alone should have given you guys a pause before casting your votes for Floyd.

I did not see any valid justification in any of the posts here that warranted Floyd's edge over Pac. Except for Marquez, which, like I mentioned, can be attributed more to the difference in size and reach, and the division where they competed, the results on the other three common opponents, are clearly in Pac's favor.

I can make a valid claim that Pac's overall advantage over Floyd is due mainly to his superior RI and you guys would have a difficult time refuting that. You can try and spin it any way you want but it won't alter the records. How a smaller guy with a supposedly inferior boxing technique, was able to out perform a supposedly brainier boxer, could not have been possible without a better RI.

The thread's main topic is who has a higher RI. What better approach to make a sensible opinion, than to compare their track records on common opponents. You cannot base it on what this guy A did to this or that boxer if the other guy B has not faced the same opponents, especially if boxer A's resume is inferior to boxer B.

Let me be clear on this, I am not making a definite claim that Pac has a superior RI than Floyd. I merely presented some very valid arguments that contrary to common beliefs, Floyd might not possess an advantage over Pac in this area.

Lastly, just because most people voted for Floyd, it does not mean that they are correct. Like earlier mentioned, somebody still has to come up with a better reason favoring Floyd than what have been presented so far.
How about this! You should write to any respectable boxing writer, historian, trainer, boxing expert any of them except Ronnie Nathanielz because you might be him and ask them who has greater Ring IQ?

Just do it. Go to any other boxing site that has respectable boxing writers and send in the question to their mailbags and they will answer you and maybe post it. Go do it send 10 or 20 of them if you can to different places and see what the overwhelming majority will answer. And these are boxing writers not some fanboy who writes essays trying desperately to argue against common sense and 20/20 vision.

Go do that and see what theyll say!

That's like asking who punches harder Manny or Floyd. Floyd's got him by a bit in the Ring IQ department.

Oh an I dont like wasting my time with people that are obviously already in denial. Whats the point of trying to convince you about something that is obvious to anybody that is a real boxing fan not just a one fighter fan.

Plus you have to have a non biased point of view to begin, common sense and 2 good eyes to understand and since you clearly clearly do not have any of these requirements you dont even deserve an attempt at learning something. Sorry, try next year!

What you can do is to write to boxing writers and ask them and then after you get them to answer you, you will see what the overwhelming majority of the people who voted on the poll where able to see that you are blind to.

Until then go learn something about ring intelligence and come back when you have an actual argument because when you do learn something and comeback youll be singing a different tune and you will undoubtedly vote for Floyd.

                Good luck with your studies!

Pacquiao studies the tapes with Roach and comes up with the gameplans.

Floyd listen to what Uncle Roger tells him.

When Floyd was getting slapped around by Judah, Uncle Roger had to tell him what adjustments to make.

Pacquiao is by far the more creative.

Mayweather does work out opponents but uses the same formula everytime.

                      Not really IQ.

IQ is having different problems and finding different way to solve them.
