Brewster is definitely the most active, and probably has looked the best in his last couple of bouts. I wouldn't bet against this guy when he is facing either of the other champs.

Brewster vs Sam Peter would be a very good fight and legit title defence. Still would like to see him in a unification bout though. Same goes for any of the other title holders.

          Then who is?

Vitali who since losing to Lewis in 2002 has just 3 fights agasint competition inferior to Brewsters?

Byrd who's been just as inactive as Vitali and struggled against sub par opposition?

          Please.

Brewster is defintalty one of the top guys in the division at the moment.

He's one of 4 title holders who all haven't been acitve or impressive.

It all comes down to one question really. Do you, in all sincerity, believe that Brewster could beat Vitali?

In the ring it seems to me he really knows what he is doing. Great sportsman with special tools.
              Toney beats him, I believe...

No, it doesn't come down to a "What if" in any way shape or forum.

It comes down to which fights will get made, and what the results are.

I sincerly believe Lamon Brewster is capeable of beating any Heavyweight around right now, including Vitali, if he shows up to fight with the hunger and self belief he's shown lately. To write him off agaisnt any of the inacitve moderatly accomplished top 5 fighters is ignorant.

Its not an obscure "what if" question, It is a legitimate question as to who is the best at heavyweight in the world. Could the WBO Champion beat the WBC Champion. You fail to provide answer.
