I don't ever see Toney being knocked out with one punch. I see the fat Toney schooling Brewster all night. Brewster lost to guys like Clifford Etienne, Charles Shufford & got a gift win in Kali Meehan fight. Trust me man, since Larry Merchant put Brewester in the top 5, everyone is thinking he's the next big thing. -
Toney would school ta shyt outa Brewster. He'd jest slip to ta side, duck ta left and counter wit that vicious right. ALL NIGHT! Toney by UD if he eva fight Brewster. Toney makes his fights look so eazy to judge. So easy to see he whompin sum ass!Comment

Those two losses (the only ones of his career) came in 2000.
That was FIVE years ago.
And while he didn't look good in the Meehan fight, there are several examples even reccently of Heavyweights in lackluster fights because the opponent was a friend. See Byrd agaisnt TOS and McCline.
To suggest Merchant had anything to do with Brewster taking that fire from Wlad and coming back to stop him, or brutalizing Golota in 52 seconds, or showing heart and versatility in stopping Krasniqi in europe..
is NON SENSE.
Brewster has looked very good lately, he has improved tenfold since those losses in 2000, and looks to be very confident and believeing in himself, his heart, and his power.
In a lackluster division plagued with boring fights and inactivity, Brewster has definatly been making things exciting.
Pull your head out of your ass and give it a good shake.
Brewster is a very positive thing in the current Heavyweight division.Comment

This coming from the guy who can't socre a round, can't add up a score card, confuses nationalities of fighters, and can't talk about fighters he's seen on tape from previous generations because the quality isn't good enough?
Please. You're an idiot, and you know next to nothing about boxing.
You've proven this over and over.Comment

he's a big puncher.. hard to hit clean, cause he gaurds him self well and stays low with his chin tucked... but i cant say hes the best right now... he cant keep getting behind to opponents and needing a KO to win... sooner or later they'll be somebody durable (toney, vk, byrd) that he cant KO...Originally posted by tremendousI honestly believe that "Relentless" Lamon Brewster is the best heavyweight boxer out there right now: he got good moves, works both the body and the head quite effectively, has a very big heart, he can both punch and take a good punch. In the ring it seems to me he really knows what he is doing. Great sportsman with special tools.Comment

Toney would destroy brewster. And its not joke. He did it in sparring, he'll do it in the ring for real toOriginally posted by tremendousI honestly believe that "Relentless" Lamon Brewster is the best heavyweight boxer out there right now: he got good moves, works both the body and the head quite effectively, has a very big heart, he can both punch and take a good punch.
