Huh, I don't understand your post? Are you saying that you should get credit for beat past prime fighters coming off bad performances just because they have a name? How you looked in recent fights is a good indicator of your current level of performance.

Here's the thing, DLH, Mosley, Margarito, etc. looked bad before they fought Manny.

Berto vs Mosley (the version that Pac fought)?

Berto is naturally bigger since he originally fought north of 147.
He also lost (upset) to a fading JWW in Ortiz.
I say he goes 1-2 against that line up.

Hatton vs DLH (the version that Manny fought)?
Hatton vs Clottey (50/50 at best)?
Hatton vs Mosley (the version that Pac fought)?

Hatton does not belong in 147 like Marquez, he goes 0-3 against that line up.

Manny been fighting oldies and catchweights for years though so your "What If" has to be reserved for someone who actually did that.

This is the list of boxers Floyd fought at WW:

1) S. Mitchell - KOed by Tszyu just before fighting Floyd.
2) Z. Judah - lost to Baldomir just before losing to Floyd.
3) C. Baldomir - had 9 losses coming into the Floyd fight.
4) R. Hatton - a LWW
5) J. M. Marquez - a LW who was even cheated at the scales by Floyd
6) Shane Mosley - 38 years old and way past prime.

Looking at this list (except for Mosley in his prime), which among these fighters could have beaten Cotto, Clottey or Margarito in the condition they were at, at the time Pac fought them?

Take note that Floyd fought two of these fighters who were coming off from a loss. That's two out of of the six Floyd fought at WW, or 33% out of total.

On the other hand, during the same period when Floyd went up to WW, Pac fought a total of thirteen fights (excluding the ODLH fight) where he fought only two boxers who were coming off a loss. That's only 15% out of the total.

So, Floyd fanatics, before any of you would even try to embellish Floyd's record and discredit Pac's, look at the comparative records and learn....then go to a dark corner and cry.
