You guys are just sad. Who cares its a fight A TON of people want to see, since when does a fight against another Titleholder need to be the FIGHT to make? Even if Marg is a bum Cotto still lost to him, that makes it relevant enough. It isn't like its 20 years later like RJJ and Hopkins. These guys were set to rematch after Marg/Mosley anyway but Marg screwed it up, Cotto getting revenge shouldn't lose luster because this guy ****ed up his career.

I never said it wasn't a fight to see my friend. I will be there live in person to see just like I do for every Cotto fight. Will it be action packed. Absolutely.. Will it be a war. I sure hope so. If this fight even does 50 % of the first fight it will still be awesome.

But to think that beating Margs who is coming off of 3 wars and ass whippings (yes 3 cause I still think Cotto took alot out of Margs as well) is gonna do anything for his ranking isn't true. Is Margs even ranked in anyone of the belts rankings?.. I don't think so... Just sayin.

The fight is good . But that's just it. Good for Cotto.. fans and Margs.. Not for boxing.

I see your point and see this as a good win for either of the two but not a great one because of what both fighters have been through. but you give us your view from Cotto's side but according to you, will it be a great win for margarito if he wins?

Also, where would you rank Margarito right now at 154 amongst those fighters?

Margarito got beat up and looked bad with Mosley & Pacquiao because of the speed/power those fighters had and style they brought. Not because he is shot. You make it seem like he fought & looked bad against 2 bums.

i think if margo wins it's only a so-so victory,i never thought of cotto as being any good,you say he got beat up and looked bad against mosley and pac because of speed,and not because of he's shot,true,but it still doesn't take away that he got beat up in those fights,thats the point i'm making,you can lose to someone who is fast and not take punishment in that fight,but he lost badly,took a lot,A LOT of punishment in those fights and that nobody can't say doesn't make him the perfect opponent for somebody to beat up on...sorry,but beating marg isn't a big deal

Sorry. I didn't clarify that. It definitely will be good for boxing. Everyone loves a great scrap. I meant Cotto's standing in boxing... As a 154 lbs he's fought Yuri Foreman, Ricardo Mayorga, and now Margs... Not a good resume considering 2 of the 3 aren't even ranked ..

This fight is for Cotto's revenge people.

C'mon I'm one of Cotto's biggest fans. I've been to his last 7 fights and I will be at this one as well but if you think beating Margs now does anything for Cotto' career besides avenging his first loss then YOU should put down the Jeffrey and go stroke your furry wall
