I just want him to stay in the gym. He deserves a big fight, but he may have to fight at 160, seeing how Alvarez is the golden goose, crystal china champ. I'm ready to see Vanes with any of the 154 guys, but they'll probably throw him in deep, so he better stay ready. Don't over train, but don't let it go. Promoters watch for weakness to offer the title chance and if they have to, they'll create the weakness by putting him in with a bigger guy. Mobility is Vanes game, footwork, in and out is his forte. Stamina is his life boat. Once he stops moving, he stops like a statue, so he can't stop dancing. Now, if he's winning easily he can do as he pleases, but don't count on it.Comment

Didn't know Vanes was this funny.
I wouldn't go as far as to say I would slap Canelo, but he put Cinnamon in his place. I had a thread a while back just after Alvarez won his title, saying that if he didn't want to up the ante and go for a challenge, he should have never fought for a belt, and only gotten it when he was truly ready to face everyone that a title-holder should face. It is now a while later and that thread still holds true.Comment
