Alvarez is going to lose the title somewhere, like Germany or Australia, because he's not that good. He'll lose a decision, stripped of protection, as soon as he travels, and Vanes will get shuffled back into the deck (a backhanded compliment). Alvarez is no road warrior, he's a home boy, for a reason.

I wouldn't go as far as to say I would slap Canelo, but he put Cinnamon in his place. I had a thread a while back just after Alvarez won his title, saying that if he didn't want to up the ante and go for a challenge, he should have never fought for a belt, and only gotten it when he was truly ready to face everyone that a title-holder should face. It is now a while later and that thread still holds true.

i think I know why they don't fight, simple, because all the champions know at best they are at 50-50 to win/lose and so they don't want to take a risk. there can't be any other single explanation.
