If I'm goldenboy I have mixed feelings about this one. Angulo could brutally KO Canelo, or Canelo could outbox him. I think a fight against Cintron or Molina is safer.

Cintron? C'mon, he's the champion and should fight against better boxers such as Angulo, Vanes, Lara, etc...

Goldenboy would probably go with Vanes out of those 3. It would be a boxing match between the two and aback fourth battle probably a points victory for the winner. Angulo I think could KO Canelo, I don't think Canelo is ready for an aggressive puncher like him. Lara would outbox Canelo and make him look silly.

He deserves all the **** he gets. When you are handed a belt (which he was) then you are the champ. So either take on the best or hand the belt over. You dont get to ease your way up to real fights when you call yourself champion.

Cotto - Even though he is a lot better, his current condition and age, I think Alvarez would have a fair shot.
Angulo - Just box and you can probably beat him. (he did duck Martinez and lose to Cintron)
Pwill - Exposed fighter now, blueprint is set, just need to execute it
            K9 - Alvarez beats him
            Wolak - Alvarez beats him
Dzinziruk - Do what Martinez did, try to hit him on the top of his head, he might wobble and get KD'ed.
            Vanes - Tough fight, 50/50
Margarito - Shot, Alvarez can take it.
            Trout - Same as Vanes.
Cintron - Do what Molina or Margarito did.
Molina - Bit of a tough fight but he can pull it off

            Easier said then done though.

I don't agree with those 3, unless Pacquiao really did ruin Margarito. If Cotto knocks Margarito out in round 1 then yes Margarito is ruined. I think the tough polish fighter Wolak could bother Alvarez but yeah he can possibly beat him.. I haven't seen enough of Dzinziruk to clearly say Alvarez beats him.

Dzinziruk has a fight coming up against a pretty good light middleweight, I don't know if it will be shown here in the US. Wolak, as entertaining as he is, I don't think he can stop Alvarez or upset him to get a decision. Alvarez can **** too and he has nice combos and can use the entire ring. I don't see him losing to Pawel for some reason. Margarito is done in my opinion. He is too open and slow, especially the first couple of rounds, Alvarez can use those to really put some damage on him. Rest of the night could be throwing combos and using the entire ring to not get cornered or anything. But like I said in my previous post, easier said then done.

I have to disagree especially with Wolak, I think Wolak can beat Canelo because Alvarez just has never faced a real opponent that's able to put pressure as Wolak does. Most of Canelo's fights have been against bad opposition or boxers that are not completely confident that they'll beat him, however Wolak is a confident boxer who has great stamina and is able to make a hard fight for his rival.

At this point, if you put Canelo against a guy that puts a lot of pressure such as Wolak ,he'll get into uncharted territory

You people hold Canelo to some ****** azz standard that at 20 he should be fighting dangerous opponents like Angulo and Wolak. 99.9% of great fighters aren't fighting guys as tough as Ryan Rhodes or even Gomez yes Canelo is and you people act like he ducking someone.

Oh and by the way Margarito and Cotto are both washed up at this point they are easier opponents than Rhodes, Arum will never put them in the ring with Canelo.

Thats a ridiculous statement. Even a shot Ricardo Mayorga is better then Ryan ****ing Rhodes.
