If he drops the belt does he lose more money that way? And if his belt is taken seriously wouldn't he be forced to fight other belt-holders? I mean if the belt means anything it should have good opponents and mandatorys.

Actually he probably should be fighting opponents like Cintron or Molina. Those are decent opponents. He should fight one of them next after he brutalizes Gomez.
