It does my head in to be honest, they need a slap.

Obviously all the ******s and pakistanis love him and I'm sure a few white people do, including myself, hes my favourite fighter.
Yeh me too - he actually lives down the road from me. But I agree with you, a lot of my mates dislike him for no other reason than his race and it stinks.

He's not even arrogant, he's confident and confidence is exactly what you need to succeed in anything not just boxing.

He's on his way to becoming a world class fighter and should be celebrated - you can guarantee if he looked like David Beckham he would be!!!

Cater to other peoples needs? How exactly? You guys are full of ****.

The only thing that bothers the racist Brits, who are not all of them of course, is the thought the number of non white people is growing. It has nothing to do with disillusionment. But guess what, England, and most of Europes population is declining. You NEED immigration. Why do you think Cameron hasn't been able to decrease immigration?

Your country's immigrant, asian, and ****** population keeps growing because thats what your country NEEDS to stay out of a devastating recession. And theres nothing racist pricks like you can do to change this. But you guys need to stop b!tching, you own governments implement immigration, no one else.

Anyway, I'm glad I don't live in Europe anymore. I cannot tell you how much more open and cooler Americans are over Brits, imo. Of course, the cities like London don't suffer this problem, its most of the rest of Europe.

Of course this is not the majority of Brits, racist orgs like EDL have very little support in the UK. Most Brits are normal, but there's enough to make you want to leave the country. Generally the poorer regions, where there are more ignorant people is where you have racism problems, and of course any time the economy is in the crapper europes racist tendencies flare up. Racism, outrage, and anger provides comfort and is satisfying to simple minded people.

        • Amir's popularity throughout the UK is held back I feel. He's starting to make a big name for himself across the world now after fighting in Vegas. I know it's a lot different but compared to Ricky Hatton, whose first fight in Vegas literally had so many fans there. It was a defence against Urango I believe but he still had thousands of fans making the trip too see 'Ricky hits Vegas' I remember it. Now Khan has had two fights in Vegas I believe and doesn't have half the fan base like Rick did at that stage. Khan has a lot more going for him than Rick did at that age that's for sure. I do believe the majority of white people in England not necessarily don't like Khan they just don't like Asians and ******s. Khan is a nice guy and clear to see he hasn't got any major bad attributes outside of the ring. Unfortunately English society have a very ugly view on ******s and Asians. So in conclusion I feel that Khans popularity is held back by his religion, not his attitude but his beliefs. Floyd Mayweather is my favourite fighter after Hatton retired. I'm going to be backing Floyd if he faces Amir. I said to myself the other day if Amir traded places with someone like Kevin Mitchell I would definitely be backing Mitchell. So race/ethnicity definitely plays a part in this.

Would they do the same thing if it was a white man that has supposedly killed an Asian girl? No of course they wouldn’t this is just part of there agenda to demonize foreign cultures its pretty transparent actually.

            • All you need to ask yourself, is, as a ******, would you feel scared getting on a coach with the kind of people are members of the EDL? Cause I know I would feel a degree of apprehension.

Hatton is most likely the most popular British fighter of all time poor comparison.

Lets compare a currently active white fighter with Amir in terms of popularity.

Carl Froch has consistently fought and beat the best fighters out there over the course of the last 4/5 years he is no where near as popular in the UK as Amir, this suggests race is in fact not a huge issue.

I don’t get the last part are you saying you support Kevin Mitch more than Amir because he is white? That is down to your own prejudice not of that of the whole countries.

It doesn't really matter where in England you're from, the majority of the English dislike Khan because he's Asian/******.

Asians and ******s are generally disliked in Britain. They're disliked because they don't integrate with the British culture. Instead, they generally stick to their own race, talk Asian in public and have a religion that is frowned upon vehemently. This dislike isn't just from Whites. Blacks also generally dislike Asians too.

It's a shame but the fact remains.
I'm black and British and happen not to dislike ppl based on race or religion.

I'll agree that there's a lot of hatred towards Asian and/or ****** people in Britain. I'd say there's general hatred towards anyone who isn't caucasian but even the Polish get stick.

My main point though is that people stick to their own, there are Asian communities, Black communities and now even Polish communities. Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with this - if YOU lived in say Spain (ex-pats) or China chances are you'd want to live with or near other English people. Also most of these communities are placed together by the local authorities on council estates so they don't have a choice in the matter.
