Reckless agression is Ortiz' only chance but reckless agression is suicide against Floyd. Floyd aint no Berto unfortunately Ortiz will find out the hard way.

I think with the mentality and mindset he had that night against berto, he has a pretty good shot against mayweather. hopefully he drops him and takes a couple rounds. floyd is deff the heavy favorite, but hopefully ortiz puts up a great fight, and even makes it a close fight. it'd really suck if it ended up becoming a blowout by the 3rd or 4th round. war ortiz!!!!

Let's face it, Ortiz gameplan to be aggressive is his only gameplan. So I don't know what's this talk about Ortiz needing to be aggressive when that is how he's won[and lost] his fights. Berto's gameplan obviously backfired against him, trying to make Ortiz pinch himself out, only to basically give away rounds, in a fight that ended up being close but clear for Ortiz. So if Berto took rounds off and Ortiz couldn't really capitalize that to the fullest, how is he going to beat a guy who's main objective is to win every round, not take rounds off? Even if Mayweather shows up fighting in front of Ortiz like he did with Mosley, Ortiz will just end up like Mosley.

Ortiz, power in both hands, riding a big high after train-wrecking Berto, AND on Mexican Independence Day, will be up, running on all cyclinders, and although Floyd may look good for awhie, jabbing, moving, countering, HE'S GONNA GET CAUGHT, and that's when the Mayweather Gravy Train gets derailed, and that "0" goes away. Floyd has hand-picked the wrong guy. It will not go well for Runaway Floyd. Uncle Roger and Floyd Sr. will be throwing hooks in the ring following as pandamonium breaks loose, after "Money" gets knocked out. If you ever wanted to gamble $500 on a long shot, put $500 on Ortiz with 8-1 odds in favor of Floyd.... then take home $4000, when they carry Floyd back to he shower. Call me crazy. I've seen a lot of fights over the years, and there's something about this fight that tells me.... this WILL be a shocker! Pacquaio and Khan will not get their shot.
you lost me when you said, "most felt delahoya beat mayweather." in truth, most do not. even delahoya himself publicly admits he lost that fight. its true judah and mosley did hurt mayweather but oscar?? cmon now. but what i do agree with you on is floyd avoiding the rematch. mayweather knew oscar, being the intelligent fighter he is, would make the necessary corrections (continue to use the jab) to make the rematch a heavier contested affair.

Ortiz will be like Hatton. After he gets KO, Ortiz will get good wins but should not follow Hatton foot steps.

Ortiz is going to recieve a beating. Then the Floyd haters will say Victor was a bum. Then they will mention and only remember the only highlight Victor has(if he has any) Much like they always mention SSM rocking PBF, but never mention that Floyd never lost a round after that..... Garcia: Ortiz can beat Mayweather. But The Truth Is He Won't!!!!!!

Floyd couldn't knockout a blown up featherweight he ain't knocking Vic out. Floyd doesn't have the balls. He will pot shot all nite. Another bicyCle win for Floyd. And lmfao at the jr poster who said no One is buying tickets to this fight because they know it's another bs fight. This fight trumps mannys past 5 fights easily. If Ortiz loses he will have lost against the p4p number 1b so he can easily come back. And when did mayweather all of a sudden become this One punch knockout artist! Vic has a great chance to shock errvry one!

Ortiz is screwed any which way in my opinion. Only way Ortiz can win is if he stops Mayweather, and I doubt that'll happen.
