Marg's "heart" is made of plaster and can be found in his gloves.

I find it amazing how Cotto was landing combos at will over and over yet Margarito got stronger and stronger, also, Cotto landed more, yet he was the one looking like the fight was a one-sided beatdown.

Maybe it was due to the clash of styles, maybe it was due to Margarito's loaded gloves, the truth we may never know. That's right, I said NEVER, not even after their rematch. They both took a lot out of each other and may have left it all in the ring that night. They both moved on and got another beating down the line(Cotto vs Clottey & Pac) (Marg vs Mosley & Pac)

Here's hoping that the rematch is even competitive.

Second round big round for Marg, busted Cotto's nose, affected his breathing for the rest of the fight.

Marg was landing his punches too. But first 5-6 round Cotto boxed beautifully but could not keep up the pace and Marg wore him down.

Against Margarito he never dug in or punch through him because he was always ready to be on the move so Margarito couldnt come back.

Thats a different shot to take. Thats why Cotto doesnt derail him but Mosley stops him because Mosley commited to every single punch. He was goring through Margarito and instead of running or moving like Cotto, he would hold. If Cotto knew how to do that then he may have won but I think Margarito had plaster so he probably still wouldve lost but he wouldve had a better shot
        Your insane......

Watch the fight, Cotto landed everything but the kitchen sink and landed some HUGE shots on Marg over and over again. Marg was getting hit with left hooks that were clean, power shots. Rounds 1,3,4,5,6,7 Cotto was landing at will, sitting on his shots when they were on the ropes and landing at will on Marg. He was basically dominating the fight man.

        Marg's chin is just ridiculous.

The difference in Mosley is that Mosley is a harder puncher than Cotto first off and secondly, he was outboxing Marg in the middle of the ring, something Cotto couldn't do and it still took Mosley forever to KO him. A normal person would have been out in the 3rd round from those shots.

And when he was being KO'd, he was smiling......hahahahdude is a maniac.

Marg won't respect Cotto's shot till they start landing on that bum eye of his. Remember the first fight, Cotto was tagging Marg with left hooks all night long.

No, youre insane. Just because you land a clean shot doesnt mean its a full force shot. Those werent normal Cotto shots. He was in retreat. Ofcourse they were clean because Margs always gets hit with clean shots but that doesnt mean they were commited shots or Cotto's full force.

Cotto didnt dominate anything. From the 2nd round on Margarito was in total control by far. If you watch that fight, anyone could see that by the 2nd round Margarito was going to win that fight. Sure Cotto mightve won a couple of more rounds but Margarito was dictating everything. It was just a matter of time because Cotto was using all his energy and was on his bike non stop

You didn't watch the fight or didn't pay attention. Cotto won rounds 1,3,4,5,6,7,9.....

He DOMINATED that fight early on and landed BOMBS on Margarito. Even the HBO crew were saying how MASTERFUL his performance was and only Steward was saying how Marg was hurting him and could wear him down.

Marg was pushing forward but was losing rounds, I don't know what you were looking at. I also felt after about the 7th that Marg would win but early in that fight Cotto was giving him a boxing lesson.

Look at Marg's face after that fight, he was getting hit and hit hard.

....Cotto doesn't fight the same way. Not since Stewart anyway, I think he will be a big factor in the rematch.

They both look shot, I just think Marg looks worse than cotto.
I still see Cotto taking this.

What people forget about this fight is that if Cotto had one instead of Marg boxing today would be completely different.

Cotto would have gotten the De La Hoya fight and Pacquiao would have never made the jump from LW to WW.

i don't see it dude, cotto's still the same guy. it's all about bringing in those elbows, tying him up on the inside and not getting spooked when the cucuy doesn't react to your punches with nothing more than the bat of his lashes.

man, if you can do this cotto - maddddd props to you. marg's is being sold short in this fight big time and if the odds are in cotto's favor ... here's to betting against a boricua.
