    Re-watched Cotto vs Marg

First and foremost, what a fight! Now with that said, im getting straight to the point.

I find it amazing how Cotto was landing combos at will over and over yet Margarito got stronger and stronger, also, Cotto landed more, yet he was the one looking like the fight was a one-sided beatdown.

Maybe it was due to the clash of styles, maybe it was due to Margarito's loaded gloves, the truth we may never know. That's right, I said NEVER, not even after their rematch. They both took a lot out of each other and may have left it all in the ring that night. They both moved on and got another beating down the line(Cotto vs Clottey & Pac) (Marg vs Mosley & Pac)

Here's hoping that the rematch is even competitive.

If Cotto can't hurt Margarito, then I believe he'll be knocked out even earlier that the first. Keep in mind, I like Cotto much more than Margarito.

Thats true. I'm probably the biggest Margarito hater here but one thing's for sure...Cotto was wide open for uppercuts and spent too much time on the ropes and never clinched. This is what Margarito needs from Cotto again to get another W. I hope Steward fixed Cotto's few flaws, if so...I see Cotto winning easily.

I agree that Steward will do his best to correct the mistakes Cotto made. Just curious, why do you have Cotto winning "easily"?

Based on their first fight, but I guess that ain't even smart. They both ain't the same fighters they were in 08. I guess its a 50-50 still...i just feel Cotto's always been the superior boxer but had a few flaws. He damn near fought a perfect fight the first time against Marg.

Cotto was beating Margarito up in the first couple of rounds. Yet he was fighting scared after taking a couple of blows.

I really believe Margarito has loaded gloves. Now without loaded gloves cotto wont have nothing to be scared of. He is gonna walk through Margarito and stop him in the later rounds.

              Easy win for cotto

Cotto was backing up too much giving Margarito all the momentum. He needs to plant his feet more and maybe copy Mosley's style of clinching.

the way i see it, in this second fight between the two, they're somewhat evenly matched that the one who loses heart first loses the fight, simple as that.
