I was sticking up for Castillo, pay attention and chill the name calling. I never said it was ok for Corrales to take his mouthpiece out, I'll say it one more time, PAY ATTENTION:
lol yo man i wasn't talking about u lol... i was taking about diegofuego, i shoud've made that clear, i quoted urs cuz u had the pic of corrales taking out his mouthpiece,
sorry should've pointed that out
( lol i tried to give u karma for that)
I'm kind of shocked that his fans could be low enough to consider this vengeance. He didn't beat Corrales within the rules because he didn't make weight. I will admit Corrales never could take a good strong punch, Junior Lightweight or Lightweight, but when you give the guy the advantage starting weight of 142 the day before the fight (Castillo admitted this in the postfight conference), then how can you expect it to be a level playing field? Castillo only had to gain about 5 more pounds where Corrales had to gain 12 to match him on fight night! Think about how much more weight Corrales is having to put on and what that is doing to his body compared to what Castillo is doing to his. That is not a fair playing field, I don't care what you know about boxing. You know the win was unjust and you can either call Corrales brave or ****** for taking the fight under those circumstances. I mean, if he calls it off, it makes it look like he's scared to fight, which is what ALL OF YOU CASTILLO FANS WOULD HAVE SAID, admit it. You'll take a victory anyway you can get it, and I think this is truly pathetic. Corrales is dumb for fighting, Castillo is a cheater for doing it. Fight yesterday doesn't mean ****, has no historical significance. Call it a moral victory if you will, but as far as true boxing fans are concerned, within the rules, Corrales 1, Castillo 0.
All I can do is laugh. Sorry, but umm...maybe now you know how us Zab Judah fans feel with the actual BS stoppage in the Tszyu fight. That goes for all you Chico fans who hate on Judah.
How did Corrales cheat? You spit out the mouthpiece, you get penalized. He got penalized. So what? He won within the rules. Don't be hypocritical, Castillo fans. If Corrales cheated at all, then Castillo DEFINITELY did.
Okay, Corrales is a sucker for the left hook, but this fight should never have been fought. For those of you who are old enough, do you remember when Mustafa Muhammad came in overweight at the weigh-in for his rematch with Michael Spinks? Spinks did the right thing and basically told Mustafa to take a hike. Contracts must be met. Castillo had agreed to the lightweight limit. Why break your word? He even admitted that he lied. I was a Castillo fan, but not anymore. What can be said of a man who does not keep his word? I also wonder if the promoters had anything to do with "persuading" Corrales to proceed with the fight. After all, they would have had a great deal to lose if this fight had fallen through. Fault lies with Castillo for lying; fault lies with Shaw and Prince for not watching out for their fighter.

Do you know how much time that gave Corrales to recover?
