yes go on i like it

castillo made 137 with no effort (this is why he gained 1.5 pounds in 2 hours cos he was NOT starving his body), if you don't agree with that you are ****ing newbie

also not having to make 147 before the fight was actually a disadvantage for corrales, because he had more water than castillo, who had to weigh in at 147 and stay sharp. If you don't agree with that you are a ****ing noob

also, spitting out the mouthpiece to gain time is in the rules, that's why a point was deducted, and a DQ would not have been out of the question... I don't have to say that that if you don't agree with that you are a ****ing noob

BUT fighting after not making weight, when the other guy agrees to do so this is totally cheating, do you get it, ****in' noob?

ALSO don't listen to Corrales when he is giving credit to castillo! he does not what he is saying! Listen to Diegofuego and Iwatchboxing, they know what's going on! OK, noob?

This is great! I am sorry for corrales, who has the heart of a champion, just like castillo, but some of his fans make his getting KTFOed out enjoyable

Each time someone presents convincing arguments as to why this fight doesn't mean much and/or shouldn't have happened, they get ignored or called a "***" or a "whiner". Nice everyone, you should all seriously consider going into law school with those kinds of rhetorical skills.

I will admit Corrales never could take a good strong punch, Junior Lightweight or Lightweight, but when you give the guy the advantage starting weight of 142 the day before the fight (Castillo admitted this in the postfight conference), then how can you expect it to be a level playing field? Castillo only had to gain about 5 more pounds where Corrales had to gain 12 to match him on fight night! Think about how much more weight Corrales is having to put on and what that is doing to his body compared to what Castillo is doing to his. That is not a fair playing field, I don't care what you know about boxing. You know the win was unjust and you can either call Corrales brave or ****** for taking the fight under those circumstances. I mean, if he calls it off, it makes it look like he's scared to fight, which is what ALL OF YOU CASTILLO FANS WOULD HAVE SAID, admit it. You'll take a victory anyway you can get it, and I think this is truly pathetic. Corrales is dumb for fighting, Castillo is a cheater for doing it. Fight yesterday doesn't mean ****, has no historical significance. Call it a moral victory if you will, but as far as true boxing fans are concerned, within the rules, Corrales 1, Castillo 0.

well seeing that your a huge chico fan i can understand that your upset.

let me say this, i dont like either guy so this is one of the times that asolutely no bias will come in to play for me.

i do think it was a legitimate win by castillo.

i know that 2-3 pounds makes a big difference in boxing but he got down to 137 and chico was at 135.

                  thats only 2 pounds.

then i have heard that chico was 151 and castillo was 148 or 149 by fight time, so chico was weighing more than him.

castillo caught him with a perfect punch and knocked him out and the win shoudl stand as legitimate just as chicos should over castillo.

lets just hope there is no 3rd fight, its time for casamayor to get back in there with both of them.

he beat them both clearly only to be robbed, he is the real lightweight champion of the world.

the guy has never ever lost, not to freitas, chico, castillo, or diamond.
