Are Castillo fans really celebrating the "victory" yesterday?

I'm kind of shocked that his fans could be low enough to consider this vengeance. He didn't beat Corrales within the rules because he didn't make weight. I will admit Corrales never could take a good strong punch, Junior Lightweight or Lightweight, but when you give the guy the advantage starting weight of 142 the day before the fight (Castillo admitted this in the postfight conference), then how can you expect it to be a level playing field? Castillo only had to gain about 5 more pounds where Corrales had to gain 12 to match him on fight night! Think about how much more weight Corrales is having to put on and what that is doing to his body compared to what Castillo is doing to his. That is not a fair playing field, I don't care what you know about boxing. You know the win was unjust and you can either call Corrales brave or ****** for taking the fight under those circumstances. I mean, if he calls it off, it makes it look like he's scared to fight, which is what ALL OF YOU CASTILLO FANS WOULD HAVE SAID, admit it. You'll take a victory anyway you can get it, and I think this is truly pathetic. Corrales is dumb for fighting, Castillo is a cheater for doing it. Fight yesterday doesn't mean ****, has no historical significance. Call it a moral victory if you will, but as far as true boxing fans are concerned, within the rules, Corrales 1, Castillo 0.

Listen 5 pounds isn't a big advantage as a matter of fact it's not an advantage most fighters come into the ring on fight day weighing much mre then they did on the weigh-ins so it means nothing unless it is like 15 pounds or something.

Do any of you newbies know why they have a weigh-in the day before the fight?

I agree with DiegoFuego on this one...

I'm not on either Castillo's or Corrales's side, But the win for for Castillo doesn't mean much.

It's the same as when Toney beat Ruiz... It doesn't mean anything if it wasn't done legitimatly.

"Call it a moral victory if you will, but as far as true boxing fans are concerned, within the rules, Corrales 1, Castillo" Diego if you ment within the rules than its Corrales 0 Castillo 0. Corrales did cheat in the first fight.

Castillo, by coming in 3 pounds heavy, lost a shot at the championship. WHY IN THE **** WOULD HE DO THAT ON PURPOSE? If it was the other way around, and JLC was the champ, and Chico came in too heavy and couldnt win the title, DiegoFuego wouldnt be saying ****. The level of bias some of the clowns on this board possess, is amazing sometimes. Bottom line

                JLC KO4 Corrales.

Trilogy time. Just in case anyone forgot:

I don't think an extra 3 pounds would've changed the timing of that perfect punch...
You're telling me if Castillo was 3 pounds lighter that punch wouldn't of knocked out Corrales? Face it, he lost, not by decision but by KTFO
