Pac is a volume puncher. Calm down kids, your world of hype is about to turn into a world of hurt for Manny. Better change his slogan to "Manny doesn't know".
Mayweather has surgical accuracy in the ring, and for all you bandwagon hype fans you will witness a spectacle your eyes have never seen when Floyd disassembles Ortiz then silences the millions by stopping Pac's win streak and repositioning himself as the undisputed P4P KING.

Pacquiao throw more punches and is a combination puncher, both these things redcue accuracy. On top of this Pacquiao is a harder puncher and throws harder puncher, another thing that will effect accuracy.

We also have to forget about the jab as the jab is use to open a defence and find range, so it can be used effectively even though it is not landing.

Pacquiao also lands his punches right on the button, **** on the chin, Mayweather punches are more scoring punches.

Pacquiao landed an astonishing 50% of his power punches against Mosley while Mayweather landed an impresiive 46%, still 4 % less than Pacquiao. And Mosley was in defensive mode when facing Pacquiao and Pacquiao was throwing more punches than Mayweather.

      Pacquiao vs Mosley

      177 / 353: 50%

      Mayweather Mosley

      123 / 267: 46%

      Pacquiao vs Margarito

      411 / 713: 58%

      Mayweather Marquez

      105 / 177: 59%

      Pacquiao vs Clottey

      232 / 682: 34%

      Mayweather vs Hatton

      257/100: 39%

      Pacquiao vs Cotto

      Mayweather vs De La Hoya

      241/138: 57%

      Pacquiao vs De la Hoya

      195 / 333: 59%

      Mayweather vs Judah

      145/295 49%

A near-riot in the closing seconds of the 10th round only delayed the inevitable: A dominant Floyd Mayweather Jr. victory.

So what is there 6 fight average?

      Pacquiao 52%

      Mayweather 50.2%

There you have it the stats back up my theory and add to this Pacquiao throws more, hits harder and throws more combinations and higher punch combinations, you would have to agree Pacquiao is the more accurate puncher.
Ok cool, but average who lands at a higher ratio plus who gets hit at a higher ratio and then average out who the total better overall statistical champ is.

Mayweathers opponents trying to chase him for 12 rounds oppening themselves up for 12 rounds will result to an easy target easy to hit type of opponents LOL

While I haven't read this thread, I have no doubt this is a Floyd circle jerking contest.

Ask yourself this; Dwight Howard's field goal percentage is always better than Kobe's, so does that make Howard a better shooter? There were times when guys like Chad Pennington's completion percentage where higher than Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, so does that mean Chad is a more accurate passer.

The answer to both is clearly no, because when it comes to making a difficult shot, or putting the ball in a spot where most can't, then that's really when we know who is better than who.

Floyd is similar to a qb that goes out a throws a punch of screens and slants and has a high percentage due to him being more economical. Manny is like Brett Favre, in the sense that he tries to force things and try to land things most wouldn't even attempt.

If fighter A is waiting for a guy to miss and land when the window (counter opportunity) is huge, then of course he will have a high percentage. If fighter B is punching threw a fighters guard (first few land on arms etc, then next on opponent once he breaks threw) then of course his connect percentage might not be lower.

The reason Manny is a more accurate puncher than me, because is ability to land punches right on the money, as well as land when the window is small is unbelievable and clearly better than Floyd's. There will be times where fighters would be in perfect defense stances with their guards up and if there is a small crack, Manny lands right on the money. I never see Floyd do that, rather, most of his punches are when his opponents are wide open and easy to be landed on.

It's totally logical to say Floyd is a better versatile Boxer than Manny, and Manny is a harder and faster puncher than Floyd. It's even more logical to say Manny is an overall better all-around offensive Boxer than Floyd.

But to say Manny is a better accurate puncher than Floyd when you based that theory on total Power punches landed as your term of overall total punches landed, and then eliminate total Jabs landed to fit your agenda is totally asinine. If you look at their last eight fights Compubox stats, you would see who the better accurate puncher clearly is, because in order to get the total punches landed/thrown, you need to add up Jabs and power punches, and then you'll get the overall total punches landed and thrown.

I'm not even sure if Manny is currently the second best accurate puncher in Boxing when you look at Wladimir Klitschko, Bernard Hopkins, ect punching stats.

Here is one: We know Floyd is a clean fighter, Pacman* sent up his own red flags by denying rigorous drug testings. With that said ima put a * by Pacmans name until proven other wise. Sorry Manny, love your fights but I believe you have something to hide so your stats are tainted
