Depends on whether he gasses or not. He hasn't fought that style of fighting for a long while.

Wlad's main advantage has been that he is huge. Alistair is just as big, so he can't get bullied physically.

So it comes down to whether Alistair will get tired or not. Wlad either doesn't have or hasn't needed to show variety. So I can't say he will just win period. That jab will be neutralized against someone just as big as him with a similar reach.

Im not saying anyone will beat Wlad. I'm saying it is definitely an interesting match up.
You're a Boxing fan you should know that Wladimir and Vitali would smash Overeem. Most MMA fans know that too.

Great post I'm a fan of Dos Santos he has the best Boxing at heavyweight in MMA. Also he started training BJJ first 6 years ago then Boxing 5 years ago and he is already the best Boxer at heavyweight in MMA he is really talented. I can't wait for Cain vs Dos Santos I'm a fan of both but I'm gonna enjoy it!

lol @ this MMgAy ****** thinking he has a chance against vitali klitscko...id bet my life that he would get KO'd by darnell "the ding-a-ling man" wilson, let alone the heavy weight champ of the world

ive seen this roided up freak get KOd numerous times, even sometimes by bums with no technique, like chuck liddel for example. and he thinks he can beat VK

klitscko KO's him with a grazing jab :12 seconds into round 1 and the only reason it takes that long is because vitali slips in the opening seconds of the bout and the ref gives him a standing 8 count

this is what happened the last time an "elite k1 kickboxer" stepped into the squared circle...

That's quite a high percentage, I'm sure many MMA fighters could do more than 4 rounds.

Strength and power are two different things.

Also with 4 ounce gloves, it is a different story. 10 ounce gloves gives much more protection, particularly since mma gloves are designed in a way that is not even like a boxing glove.
Not to mention placement and accuracy of punches along with timing.... Boxing isn't the one dimensional aspect people make it out to be. It's a very refined technical sport... The fact anyone thinks this dude can even compete with a top 100 HW baffles me.
