Then he's not top 5 but a guy like Pacquiao is? Wlad is the type of boxer you'd want your son to look at and say look son that's what you call boxing[of course along with Mayweather and a few others]. You don't tell a kid to look at Roy Jones and try to fight like him, or look at Manny Pacquiao and copy him. When we talk skill, i'm thinking we're talking fundamentally-sound, intelligent boxers, technical boxers who actually box, not the best "fighters"

Wlad not one of the top 5 most skillful boxers of 2000-2009, wow.
peeps dont understand the skills it takes to fight at the fast pace that pacquiao fights

it is REALLY EASY to fight just using the jab and looking out for anything your opponent might throw

esspecially when you've been boxing for as long as the pros such a wladimir
no real skill, just a style advantage, dont get it twisted

Agree. To fight like Roy and Manny, you need top notch speed and athleticism. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to get away with some of technical fundamental errors they've made.

and you know I hate Floyd/Bhop with a passion but you cant deny skills. (hate Floyd because him and Manny making a mockery of Boxing and hate Bhop because he's a racist)

Also I think Glen Johnson is very underated (in his prime)

              • Guys like Manny, Barrera, Cotto, Chris John, Zahir Raheem, ect are very underrated in terms of being technically fundamentally-sound, but i don't think they should be ranked at same levels as guys like Floyd, Ward, JMM, Hopkins, Calderon, Donaire, Wlad, ect in terms of being well-round technically-sound. These guys are like professors of the sweet science, and the way they displays their punches with precise timing and craftiness, ring awareness, control of fights tempos, ect are just phenomenal.

                • Floyds an athletic freak, he isn't all fundamentals like you ni99as sayin, you makin him out to be the Tim Duncan of boxing

He's like a combination of Roy Jones and Bernard Hopkins

I disagree. Zab Judah is way more athletic than Floyd, but he's not on Floyd's level. Floyd has great flexibility and many more natural gifts, but he has relied more on his ring awareness than anything else. Floyd isn't the most skilled Boxer ever, but he has arguably mastered most of Boxing's fundamental aspects than any other current Boxers.

Donaire (but needs a proper test)

and it pains me to say it, Mayweather
