Paul Williams is not shot!!!!

Williams is slightly past his best but he isnt shot! This is pretty much the same fighter who fought Quintana 3 years ago. I have been watching this guy since the Matthyse fight and in every fight i have seen since then his defense has been horrible but his workrate and chin made up for it. Keep him away from slick southpaws and he will look like he did in the past.

Maybe but i dont see what the big difference in Williams is from before and now. The claim that his chin was cracked too also has no solid evidence to back it up because Lara was landing power shots all night and Williams never even touched the canvas let alone get kod.

Having watched it in person and then rewatching it on TV I agree with this opinion. He's the same fighter he's always been, and looked just about as bad as he has looked against every southpaw he has faced. If he is smart enough to never step in a ring with a southpaw again he can still win fights, but he will never be able to beat another good southpaw.

You ain't the only one who felt this way homie.. Just soo many here rode that P Will hype train. Guy is fun to watch.. had all the potential.. but didn't want to improve his skill set. Good fighter.. but most feared boxer? Good thread.

I saw the same Williams i saw against Quintana in 08 with the only difference being Lara is a little better of a fighter.

I was there live too nice small place. For 100 dollars a ticket i was in the first row in seats 1 and 2.

P Will lost cause he's shot. Not because he has no defense/movement whatsoever and let's his hands hang to his hips.. while leaving his chin wide open.

There is no difference that's the problem he gets hit and hit clean way too easy and way too often that will take it's effect over time.
