Who's getting owned? This entire conversation proves my point of just how weak this era is when a guy with 13 fights can beat a guy with 14 fights and a paper ranking and get a shot at the heavyweight title.

Sam Sexton was not ranked highly neither is Chisora currently.

Wlad would pummel Chisora to death and the sole reason they have for fighting is merely because Wlad will honour their past agreement to fight.

The fight does nothing for Wlad other than another title defence to his long list of defences.

WBO, and top 15 on Boxrec at the time.

            Larry Holmes world title defenses:

            Ossie Ocasio 13-0

            Mike Weaver 19-8

            Leon Spinks 10-2

            James Smith 14-1

            David Bey 14-0

Tell us: why do you unconditionally love Larry Holmes, yet constantly rant against Wladimir? Shouldn't a history section moderator be less biased?

haha you nor Freedom fighter know what you're talking about.

If Chisora gets a title shot, then that just crap.

Witherspoon fought Holmes in 83'. At the end of 82', beginning of 83' he was already rated #10 in the World. So he was a World ranked fighter.

You won't find Chisora nor Sexton rated unless if you're talking about one of those crooked sanctioning body organization...

But, no legitimate rankings have them rank.

So you guys have to try again to justify this pick...

Now if Wlad fights Dimitrenko or even Arreola next I would be OK with it...But, for Chisora to even be brought up...Shows that this might be the weakest HW era of all time...However, that's not Wlad fault at all.

Wait! Chisora has a fight with Tyson Fury. How is a win over Fury a given that will lead to Wlad?? Chisora v Fury is a fight with 2 guys close to the same level, right?? Shouldn't Wlad be talking about the winner of that fight and not assume it is Chisora? Or am I missing something here?

Exactly!! Both Dimitrenko or Arreola I could live with, but Chisora is a joke!
