Ortiz is so hot and cold, bam bam seems to be hot all the time he wont let his foot off the pedal the way ortiz did.

But this is a perfect first 140 fight for rios.

I disagree I think it had a lot more to do with Ortiz letting off the gas than Lamont gutting it out. This is not to call Lamont gutless or anything. Far from it both guys are gritty fighters I just think Lamont hits a bit too light to keep Rios from respecting him. Ant had his respect but once Rios made adjustments (circling the right hand rather than throwing it straight for example) Ant resorted to fouling to keep him off.

I think Lamont is better than Anthony but I would probably lean on Rios.

I doubt Rios fights Lamont Peterson for his first fight at 140 anyway.

Rios can charge all he wants,Peterson is a way better boxer then Ant.P and Acosta..Peterson would turn Rios and make him eat right hands all night..Not to mention Peterson is very strong on the inside, you seen how he was able to hang with Ortiz who was a MW when they fought...

Ortiz had lamont in all kinds of trouble and for some reason went to sleep after that he just took his foot off the pedal bro he gave that fight away.

I don't think Ortiz had a draw because he let off the gas,he was found out..Ortiz(like Rios)only has one way of attack..All Peterson started to do was pump that Jab and use movement to make Ortiz reset..Not to mention the body work,Rios is not ready for Peterson imo...

Rios by tko. He'd walk thru lamont's punches.

Rome, are we hyping up Lamont because he's a Bradley victim?

                    found out as what?

                    you are off your meds

what was found out about Ortiz subsequently was that if he kept his attack constant then he can actually beat fighters at the upper level. This bore out with the Berto fight or do you think Lamont is better than Berto as well?

Ortiz let off the gas, was told by his trainer that he has this and to box carefully, and let Lamont in

and trust me I was rooting for Lamont in that fight. Been a fan of the Petersons since they were with Prize Fight my boy Nate on here can atest to that

Lamont was dead in the water in the third and should have been finished off in the 4th and Ortiz backed off

Not at all,I also don't think I'm hyping Peterson up at all..Any boxing fan with two eyes should be able to see Peterson toughness and boxing ability..I also felt when he step his level up he was able to keep up withhis opponents...He fights good on the inside as well as outside..I'm a Rios fan but I never seen him fight a fighter with the skills of L.Peterson,an that's why I don't see him Winning if they faced off...
