He would most likely still beat both of those guys. Lara is just another one of those slick southpaws Paul cannot beat. Cotto and Dzinziruk are stay still fighters Paul wouldn't have so much trouble with.

Peterson has ruined Paul's career. He's a terrible trainer. If a tall fighter is not going to use his height and reach as an advantage, then a top fighter will use it against him. Unless Paul gets a new trainer that will teach him how to box and use his gifts as an advantage, he needs to retire. The blueprint to beat him is now set in stone. Martinez would put this kid in the hospital.

did you guys not just see the williams/lara fight? williams is done - he doesn't have the authority and ring presence/generalship he had before. cotto being so much shorter is a HUGE advantage in this fight because paul's body would be so wide open. and he fights on the inside, another advantage to cotto with shorter arms. Cotto would duck Williams shots all night and blast that body to a bloody pulp. . .

Cotto doesn't like being crowded and pressured. What do PW do? he pressures the **** out of you. PW has a granit chin except for being knocked out by Martinez. He took bombs on the chin by Lara all night. Cotto has an suspect chin. This would be one of the biggest mismatches in history if it would ever be made
There is the truth right there. Everyone knew before Saturday that PW looks pathetic against southpaws. They can land the straight left against him at will. Against righty's he still does get hit, but it's not nearly the same. Cotto still loses to him because the only thing he did prove Saturday night is that his chin and will are still very strong and those things would be good enough, along with the pressure he applies to beat Cotto.

Cotto is a natural southpaw if im not mistaken. . . he can fight effectively as a southpaw, and even as an orthodox he has a DEVASTATING lead left hand. While his defense is certainly not A+, and he's hittable, he has a good defense when it comes to weaving and getting low. williams would be swiping pity pats while cotto bobbed and weaved, and then blasted him with a jab, straight right, left hook to the body. then he would take it upstairs because williams comes straight forward crouched down. . .

I hope Cotto has finally decided he think's PW is shot enough to fight him, since he has ducked him for years, but I still believe PW beats him. PW's chin is still good and he still has the will to come forward and walk through punches. Cotto doesn't have the power to stop him, doesn't like guys who pressure him, and he's lost a lot as well. It's a war, but PW takes it on guts and heart.

FACT: Paul Williams cannot fight against SOUTHPAWS

And this weekend he looked rusty as hell and didn't have his motor on like he usually did. He was still trying to throw combinations but we all seen his chin isn't cracked at least. If He gets Punched with that left next fight then he should just retire because Martinez is going to eat him alive with a straight left again.

Its obvious to everyone that PW's lost on saturday and was on the verge of being stopped. Plus hes shown that he cant make adjustments at all. So imo he needs to retire because at this point Cotto stops him and i think Dzinziruk schools him badly.

He would still even at this point whoop Cotto ass.

Cotto has no chance of stopping him. I didn't think so before Saturday's fight, and still don't after seeing that while PW may have lost a little he hasn't lost his chin or will to fight. Cotto fought and got pounded by the worse version of PW in Chetto. PW is just a taller, faster, more active Chetto.
