PROMOTER Bob Arum has admitted in a New Jersey courtroom that he paid $100,000 (£62,500) in bribes to Bobby Lee, the International Boxing Federation president, in order to have a fight approved between then-heavyweight champion George Foreman and Axel Schulz of Germany.
"It was one of the ******est, worst things of my life," admitted Arum. "I agreed to the payment in what I consider to be a very, very weak moment."
Lee faces 38 charges of racketeering and corruption. The case is continuing.

before december 2009 when cotto-pac happened NSB was actually an alright place and then after cotto-pac then all the trolls and ******s infested NSB and trust me before that fight no one was talking about drug testing and then look what happens when floyd does he starts a trend and brings swarms of idiots along with him, if this whole drug travesty did not happen we probably would have seen floyd-pac by now, and i vote yes neutrality is good but whats the point its taken nearly 2 years to make this fight i doubt it will happen any time soon or ever....

Steroids are a problem in ever major sport in the world, but they aren't a topic of discussion every day and they sure as hell don't DOMINATE the discussion like they do in boxing. Peds do not dominate the conversation in football or baseball, even though they are obviously a bigger problem there.

U don't read about roids 24/7 nonstop in ANY MAJOR SPORT the way u do with boxing. It's a ***ing travesty what has been done to our sport, it has basically been ****d. We have let our sport get hijacked by loons and frankly it's disgusting. There are more threads about roids then there are about BOXING.

U remember boxing, that once great sport that has become a punch line and a fringe play ground for children and amateur wanna be doctors alike. Floyd should be shot, if they have an anti boxing hall of fame for people that have done the most damage to the sport, floyd would be right next to don king. finally! a boxing fan who does not talk about peds or coward or ducking! you are so right its not even funny all boxing is about nowadays is drug testing and other random shit, like there was not enough to deal with shit like all the super and interim belts crap along with 5 weight belts instead of 2 belts per division and plus this whole loads of divisions and also these attitudes these fighters have of 60/40 purse is ridiculous all this stuff and also boxing fans are more into sales and ppv sales its just sad no wonder people have strayed from boxing it is a shadow of what it used to be, dont get me wrong it is great fighting wise atm some really talented and respectful champions in each division but with all the stuff surrounding it, it is not what it once was
