This entire quarrel is between Mayweather and Arum. Arum is LIVID that he can't make money off of Mayweather. No one sees this? Arum has been trying to hype up Cotto, Clottey and Margarito for YEARS! The guys couldn't hang on for more than one year when Floyd left in 2007. He came back in 2009 and they had all lost and dropped in rank!

Arum was FURIOUS! Floyd was his slave for years ... making Arum lots and lots of money. When Floyd left Arum Promotions, Arum tried going to the media to make put pressure on Mayweather to fight HIS OWN FIGHTERS despite them not having done anything at WW at that point.

Now, Arum FINALLY has a guy in his stable who he can tout as having done something .. because he fought the last 6 guys ALL coming of losses, some at catchweights, and one WW was banned but was allowed to compete for a vacant jrMW title that he was never in line for.
