Comments Thread For: Bob Arum: Manny Pacquiao Will Fight Five More Times

How can ANYONE blame Floyd Mayweather Jr for the fight not happening when Manny Pacquiao was the one that walked away from the negotiating table because he couldn't get the heads up of when he would be tested? I don't care about 2nd or 3rd negotiations because if Manny and Arum truly wanted it then the fight would have happened 2 YEARS ago. Pac turned down Floyd to fight Clottey (a lesser fighter and loser for lesser money) if that isn't a duck then I don't know what is. And don't tell me not to bring up the past because if Pac would have accepted the demand, then the fight would have been past tense, so in actuality. Pac ducked Floyd AND now that Floyd is back he is saying "Pac you're next" and "take the tests". how is Floyd to blame? All he wants is the tests and the fight could have happened and will happen. Why is that so hard for Pac fans to comprehend. Pac didn't even try to call Floyd's bluff by accepting the tests. He only said he did when Floyd was away from the sport but hasn't said a peep about them since Floyd's return. Get out of here with that BULL$H!T. Fight would have been DONE a looong time ago if it wasn't for Pac. How can you give him a pass but say Floyd is ducking him? Why does a simple blood test have to be the thorn in the side of the sport of boxing? I can't wait till the truth is fully revealed for the whole world to see. I'm guessing if Mayweather beats Ortiz that Arum will find a way for Pac to duck Floyd through the media again.
Don't even have to be a genius to see it for what it is.Pacquiao and Mayweather had agreed to unlimited random urine testing, but Mayweather also insisted on random blood testing, even though the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which would oversee the bout at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, requires only urine testing.
Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 KOs) didn't want blood testing but later relented and agreed to three blood tests: one during the week of the kickoff news conference, which would have taken place next week, one random test to be conducted no later than 30 days before the fight and a final test in his dressing room after the fight. Mayweather (40-0, 25 KOs) would be subject to the same testing procedures.
When they could not come to an agreement, Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions, which represents Mayweather, turned to a mediator, retired judge Daniel Weinstein, who had successfully mediated a series of disputes between Top Rank and Golden Boy in 2007.
But after nine hours in mediation on Tuesday in Santa Monica, Calif., and further attempts to come to a resolution on Wednesday failed, the fight was pronounced dead by the Pacquiao camp.

i criticize the jmm/pac fight too... but be real, you expect pac to drop to 135 to GIVE jmm another payday??? tell me how that makes sense? floyd made jmm move up to a catchweight too... and COMPLETELY disregarded it... did people forget???
to quote floyd: "make it make sense"Comment

Can't wait for Pac's next 5 fights. As soon as that dog and pony show is done all these ******ed Filipinos will get off of here and go back to sharing dog recipes in tagalog. Good riddance Pacquiao, you were great at the lower weights but a compete fraud since 2007.Comment
