I think he beats them all besides maybe the last two (Pacquiao and Mayweather), but he does have a style that could give even them problems
How Does Martinez Matchup In These 10 Big Fights?

1- Sturm -- Sturm has some skills and I believe has a strength advantage. I think it'd be a great fight, a good mix of styles. However Martinez is just on top of his game and has too much movement. He has a great mixup of punching angles and pop to keep Sturm at bay. I say a close UD in Martinez's favor.
2- Kirkland -- Kirkland is just not in his league right now. Kirkland has no defense and only knows one way to move. I think this fight would be over in about 6-8 rounds.
3- Winky -- Winky hasn't shown anything in a few years. He's inactive and he'd be coming off a 12 round pummeling from PWilly. I think Winky's jab and defense would frustrate Martinez, but Martinez will be busy enough to make this a boring 12 round decision.
4-Pirog -- I see nothing special out of this guy, and based on his last performance, I think his Jacobs performance was an aberration and not the norm. I see Martinez out hustling him for a 12 round UD.
5- Cotto -- Since I'm assuming this would also be at MW, I think Cotto presses the fight with his accuracy and timing but gets worn out and KO'd in the later rounds as the added weight and keeping pace with Martinez gets the better of him.
6- Abraham -- Flat footed and now only gearing up for the big punch. Abraham would be badly outboxed and and frustrated at his opponent. Martinez wouldn't KO him because Abes beard is still top notch. A good UD in Martinez's favor with alot of good action.
7-Taylor -- Several years ago, this would have been pretty epic...now, even at 80%, it'd be sad.
8-Williams -- Take the second fight, sprinkle in some of the fireworks and magic these two produced in the first fight, and you'll get the outcome of the third fight.
9-Pac at 154 -- Pac isn't built for 154, he said so himself. This is a one sided beatdown from a guy who can match Pac's speed (not as much, but close enough) and has enough power to put him down with zinging body shots.
10-Floyd at 154 -- Floyd has the skills, but doesn't seem to have the legs. He doesn't have the power to hurt Martinez and I think Martinez would overwhelm him with movement and power. Floyd won't get KOd, but I think a good MD/SD is what I'd go with. Floyd can't be so inactive and come back older and less mobile and get a win.
Sheesh, now looking at these...I don't even think Martinez will last that much longer with his style, however I believe the only ones here who would give him problems and perhaps win, even though I wouldn't bet it would be Abraham, Cotto and Mayweather.Comment
