This wasnt something thrown out of nowhere. Team Pac knew Pac would have be tested. They even went as far as to accept the tests remember. Then they backtracked and now we are where we are.
I mean what about the insane weight penalties Pac put on Morales and Mayweather? Pac isnt clean in this situation. Floyd accepted Pacs request (something Floyd had never had to do ever) with a smile. Mind you there wasnt a 10 Mil weight penalty on Pac, just Floyd. With the OST's Floyd would also be taking the SAME tests.
You got Ortiz and Mosley getting tested with no problems at all. It makes Pac look like a cheat. At the end of the day if yo want to fight Floyd you have to take the tests period. Pac wont do it and it has nothing to do with Pride.
the weight penaly with floyd was 100% legit after floyd pulled that de****able shi t with JMM

Look, I will repeat myself for the millionth time, I don't have a dog in this fight, I'm not on either's side but the fight would have gone as planned IF Floyd didn't start making demands.
Now you can argue that those demands are lagit and point to the size of Manny's head and hands and all this other BS I read in this place but the bottom line is, if Floyd wanted this fight, it would have been made.
He came out of his ass with the blood testing and the fact that Manny agreed to it from the beginning is amazing to me.
Look I'm not trying to come of as someone who knows everything about boxing but I train in a gym where we have the everyday guy to pro's and most people don't understand what happens in the business aspect of things and how egotistical these fighters and their groups are.
When Floyd started making ACCUSATIONS of ped's and demanding blood tests, it was over for this fight.
Mannys not ******ed. And Most likely hes not juicing hes just a puppet.Arum is doing everything in his power to milk all he can out of Manny before he sends him in there against Floyd. Arum came out and said "The poor kid is scared of needles". "Sometimes they miss the vein". "It makes him weak" etc etc
When reality is he had 2 tubes of blood, mind you more than what USADA requires which is a teaspoon, Drawn 18 days before the Clottey fight and he was playing basketball and putting sparring partners on ***** street the same day.
People who want to see the fight are finally seeing through the bullshyt. The casual fans dont know about the 25 Mill gurantee Jerry Jones offered Arum if he fough in his stadium. They dont know that BEFORE the Clottey fight Arum lined up Margarito and even promised him the Pac fight for November. The casual fans ALSO dont kow that he was lining up JMM as his next opponent before Pac laid a glove on Margarito. They also dont know that Arum was trying to line up Bradley for his next fight after JMM before Pac laid a glove on Marquez.
People are starting to see through Arum and Pacs bullshyt and thats good for the sport because hopefully it leads to the fight we all want to see.

walls of text flying around in this thread like crazy.
All i see is the same BS as I've seen the past years.
*****s defending floyd taking 1-2 year between fights, defend his past matchmaking etc.
*******s defending not taking proper tests, defending pacs recent matchmaking.
both sides need to wake up. Both ur "guys"(gays) are at fault and you need to call them out for it. Just boycott them til they fight eachother.

That penalty is as legit as making Pac pay a crazy fine because Pac missed weight int he past. But they arent fighting at those weights they are fighting at 147.

anyway,
about this analogy, I agree, I even put in my first post that the OST move made floyd look bad. and I personally think it was a bit ch move especially because floyd and his team are forever saying how shi tty manny is, BUT they won't fight without these out of the blue demands being met. i even thought that floyd did it specifically to get out of the fight because of the principles of negotiation and the size of the egos involved- and I still think that.
but I think over time, floyd has seen manny looking more vulnerable in the ring, and less impressive. now he's making moves to change all that around and can sway public opinion (and mine as well) because manny is so quiet. those who don't make moves ahead of your opponent and keep doing the same thing, are doomed to fail in a chess match...ask ned stark from game of thrones.
People are mad that ****** a$$ hood-ni&&a floyd (really al haymon) outsmarted top rank and Manny by hearing his demands, agreeing to them, then hitting back hard with the OST request. The complaints about the OST range from, floyd must be scared, to its not right, to Manny is too good for that, you shouldn't discredit a champion BLAH BLAH BLAH!

Arum is a snake, I would never defend him. His treatment of Oscar alone is de****able, but what I'm saying is that the weight penalty , as exaggerated as it was, is nothing new to boxing, Olympic style testing is.
I know you can make the argument that both are bad, I agree but like I said, Floyd can't use that excuse when he did the same thing with JMM a fighters already two weight classes lower than him.
Look, I think we BOTH as fans want to see this fight and for the record I have Floyd winning as well. What bothers me is Floyds mouth and ******ity in all of this. On one hand he says Manny is a one dimensional fighter that can easily be beat, then he says if he loses he wants it to be to a clean fighter...
He's all over the place and personally, I do think Floyd is a little worried about Manny. I think Floyd desperately wants to retire undefeated, that "0" is something that means everything to him.

He wants you to think he is content in being the bad guy but at every opportunity you see his true feelings come out in personal interviews where he b1tches and whines about why people don't love him and why he should be the greatest American athlete. How it's because he's black that he isn't the #1 athlete in America and nonsense like that.
Floyd isn't that smart to be playing reverse psychology, he truly hates the fact that Manny is loved and he is not.
Floyd is fighting an uphill battle if thats what he really wants though. There hasnt been a black boxer that didnt have to be a jerk to be a crossover star since Leonard. Many have tried to smile and be nice didnt work though.
Mosley tried it.
Evander tried it.
Winky tried it.
It just doesnt work anymore.
Tyson and Floyd hit that level being the bad guy. But hey on that note look at Tyson Americas loves him now hes in movies, dancing and shyt etc. People have forgot about the **** cases, the gay rants, the eating children thing etc.
Floyds gonna have to wait til retirement if he wants to be liked. lol
