It's about time, there's so many people that want this fight. Ignoring the biggest fight possibly since the 80s is only allowing your opponent to court public opinion and spin stories how ever they want, problem is that Manny didn't take advantage of this in any other way than to fight easy fights for a lot of dough. He could have been making floyd look worse by beating berto (so there was no oritz option) and ojnt fighting people floyd already beat or that were completely irrelevant like margs but bob's a fool. pac would make plenty money fighting mike jones most likely.

I was shocked when Floyd made this fight,he is 34 years old and is taking on a 24 year old who looked huge at WW and beat up a very good Berto,it makes me think that Pacquiao is ducking the tests,not to mention Manny never speaks for himself he is like a puppet for Arum and Roach,its ok to tow the company line at times but i believe Manny has taken it a bit to far.
He fights Mosley who looked badly shot against a b level fighter in Mora,and is following it with a fight against Jmm years to late at a weight Jmm is clearly not effective at,but does that matter to the top rank crew hell no people are still paying to watch these crap fights against shells,at least Mayweather when he does fight goes after men coming off of huge wins.

Not trying to flame it out in here, just have an adult discussion.

There's so mich to type, so im going to start with my main point.

1) manny had a psychological edge in the beginning because floyd looked scared by forcing ost. Regardless of what fools who cant comprehend the big picture think, this is how the move was percieved and perception is reality. It doesnt take a genius to spin that story.

2) rumors circulate that manny agreed to floyds Demands with a cut off date, but its all heresay because they never made azhuge deal about it or publicly said (manny himself) that they would do anything to get floyd in the ring. This began to make manny look weak imo.

3) he continues to look weak by fighting arum retreads who have no business being in ppv's with manny.

4) floyd swoops in and fights the best ww not named floyd or manny and takes on a young gun who's hungry and badass at 147 while manny fights a
dude floyd shut out that is alreAdy probably fighting one weight class to high at lw. So he's a minimum of 2 weght classes out of his league.

All that adds up to floyd outplaying manny and bob. Bob was content to just take advantage of manny's fans and his reputation while floyd was biding his time and waiting to pull a checkmate type move.

Who the *** is manny gonna fight if he and floyd win? Khan is trained by roach so floyd has him. I guess its gonna have to be bradley who looked as out of place at ww as hatton did to me when he moved up. We know neither floyd nor manny is going to even glance in sergio's direction, so there's no one at 154.

You can't avoid the flaming when you talk about Pac and Floyd. But I am hoping that Floyd fighting Ortiz would pressure Team Pac to look for younger opponent for his next fight.

Floyd is definitely turning things around on Pacquiao IMO, and it's pretty much only because of Pacquiao's choice of opponents. It's hard to defend Pacquiao not manning up and taking the tests going on a year and a half later now when he is fighting such terrible fights.

But that isn't what is going on. Again your argument isn't with floyd its with Bob. You are just pointing at floyd because you dislike him. To me, its no different then the NBA and NFL lockouts. The argument is not really between players and owners but large market and small market owners.

Your problem should be with Bob. He sells the BS that he is trying to make floyd pac fight yet he is really putting together a other top rank fight to make himself more money. I hate Bob but completely undertsnd his right to make his business profitable.
