Newsflash!!!! Idiots shouldn't start threads because, when you do, you really show how ignorant you are. Where the hell did you get the idea that nothing has to be proven? Do you think Pacquaio will be able to stand before the judge and talk about how mean Mayweather is and shed a few tears and walk away with a million dollar judgement? Is that what they do in the redneck community that you live in?
As a person who has participated in a few defamation/libel suits during my years as a newspaper reporter, I know a lot more about the subject than a whiny, Pac worshipper.
In a defamation suit, the plaintiff has to prove that the defendant made comments in public that adversely affected the plaintiff's career or life. In order to win, the plaintiff proves that he has been significantly financially harmed (lost a job, lost customers for his business, had his reputation ruined by the words of the defendant) by the defendant's actions. In other words, Pacquaio would have to prove that what the Mayweathers said actually hurt his career or caused him to lose a significant portion of his income. He can't prove that because his career has not suffered at all because of the drug allegations. Mayweather may have us *****s "convinced" as you state, but that has not hurt Pac's career in the least. Neither I, nor anyone who is a true boxing fan, would have spent a dime watching those garbage PPV fights that Pac has participated in in the last three years even if the PED accusations had not been made.
On the other hand, the way the boxing media has fawned over Pac and praised him in every way short of claiming that his **** doesn't stink, the allegations have probably done more to help Pac than hurt him.
