I have seen so many comments about Saul Alvarez only fighting "Eurobums" where has this obsession come from? He's fought 30 odd fights and only about 3 have been European. Rhodes had 10 straight wins with 4 out of last 5 being KO's. People on Boxing scene are trolls who dont follow the sport. Canelo took Rhodes out of the fight and schooled him. Most posters here are the "only watch big fights and PPV's" fans.

medved, probably 95% of the time, i agree with your posts...you make good solid points..but this Rhodes thing goes with that other 5%

Ryan Rhodes is a bum! apart from Jamie Moore who else of note has Rhodes fought in the last few years? and look at what Moore did in his next fight? he got stopped by a journey man from some armpit of eastern Europe! so i would agree that rhodes is a euro bum! Matt Hatton could not beat Lovemore Ndou so hes a euro bum! Jose cotto PR Bum! Ndou African bum! Baldomir Argie Bum! so hes not just fighting euro bums hes fighting bums in general!

it's similar to how people say pacquiao is the catchweight king when in reality he has only really fought two catchweight fights in his entire pro career.

30 Knockouts in 45 pro wins means limited punching power!!! See not only do solid pros become bums when they fight Canelo. But they also become feather fists when they fight Canelo despite having 30 knockouts on their record.

Rhodes wasnt a bum. Neither was Matt Hatt. Maybe a gatekeeper type but a solid win for the kid. Canelo just overwhelmed him. The body shots made him have to abort plan a, b, and c. I aint a big fan of Saul but he is ready for the big time now. His defense was much better and he looked a bit faster with the hands. Now lets see Cotto or Serg. He'll give them both good fights. He could crush Chavez.
