do you give floyd credit for dominating jmm like no 1's ever done?

Yes I do think he looked a bit slower. But it was more of an illusion than anything IMO. I "know" he was slower, but how much slow? What am I comparing him to? His opponent? If I watch him against Diaz see technically the same fighter, you know? Just able to get take advantage of his spots. But against floyd, I think everyone looks a bit slower.
I've seen floyd impose his will before. He imposed it on a puncher in Shane and a puncher in Judah (after being hit at and outboxed against judah, and rocked against shane). He imposed it against Chop Chop as well after getting rocked, etc. He seems to impose his will against guys who can or have hurt him. He didn't attempt it at all against JMM. I believe, size differences aside, he respected JMMs countering ability and stuck to teh pot shot for that reason.
Yes I'm being ignorant in saying weigh thad ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with it, but it's not too far fetched. I think we don't look at the actual styles enough. It would have gone done like that in any weight IMO.
I believe floyd deserves credit for not allowing a precision puncher like JMM to ever land anything. I don't believe that has much to do with weight. Just my 2 pennies
you make a cohesive argument and certainly i have no problem with that being your opinion, i just don't give a lot of credit for doing what you're supposed to do, and doing it to someone with so many disadvatages in a fightComment

It's just an off hand answer to a ridiculous post made by fronter. Why even make a Norris-Joppy comparison when Joppy did not have long title defenses like Norris did. He just wants to prove that there is a fighter who defeated an old legend that did not go to the HOF.... that is all...he did not even think through it.Comment

yes but in my response I gave more reasons that just weight. you didn't answer my questions about what kind of credit you would give manny if he did something similar vs kats in a similar situation.
