Khan's fight with McCloskey did nothing for him as far as I'm concerned and I would have liked Khan to have fought Urango or Judah for his 'stay busy' fight.

Other than that I would have even preferred the likes of Katsidis or Gurerro to move up from 135 or even a rematch with Prescott over McCloskey.

But, atleast McCloskey was ranked in the Top 10 at 140 when Khan fought him and had a few decent fights to get there.

Barker, on the other hand, is coming off a year lay off and looked very rusty in his comeback fight albeit Spada was a good opponent for his first fight back, but obviously nothing to shout about. Before his layoff and throughout his entire career he has done very little even above British level. Barker is also not remotely close to being considered Top 10 at 160.

For these reasons, I consider Khan's win over McCloskey to be more legit than this fight. That's how unlegit this fight would be.
