    Martinez needs to fight Pirog.

I think Martinez should forget about Floyd & Manny.I remember when he 1st ko'd the Punisher, boxing scene was loving him.Mostly because Paul could fight at 147 & he had a strong case for being able to beat boxing's 2 sweet hearts. But the minute he said he'd like to fight either 1 at 154,(all have been champ there),they shrunk in size.while 1 retired, the other has beaten shot old men,but he's too tiny for superwelterweight & too big to go below welterweight.

Anyway Martinez isn't getting any younger,Arum won't put Manny in the same building as Martinez & Floyd usually never takes those types of risk,he won't start now.Now while I believe Pirog doesn't have enough pro experience to mess with Martinez, there are a few people that think he can.Martinez should fight him, destroy him & try to reign in all the other title holders at 160.Force Chavez jr to disown the title he won & run for cover.Martinez, boxing isn't about what U know,it's about who U know.Ur a fighter in a game of promoters, sorry dude,U got to get in where U fit in.

    I dont think so.

Pirog has done lil to earn a shot at the king.

I'd love to see this fight, but Pirog should take care of his business and should eliminate potential Martinez future victims at least at middleweight.

While I want to see Martinez fight Pirog more than any other fighter I still don't think Pirog has done anything outside of beating a good prospect in Jacobs. I think he needs a few more fights in him before he takes on Martinez. Like I said I wouldn't be mad if the fight was made cause i'd like to see it, but I don't think Pirog is ready. And you know NSB, if Martinez were to wax Pirog all those that said he was ducking Pirog would now go on to say how green Pirog was and how he didn't do anything aside from beating Jacobs and looking mediocre in his last fight.

Then after U handle business at 160,go up to a catchweight of 170 & drop a UD to B-Hop in a win win situation for U.Ur good enough to not get ko'd.But clearly Ur not gonna beat B-Hop.There's no shame in loosing to the greatest active fighter. The only problem there though is that these same fans who want U to move up & lose to a bigger fighter, are gonna then sit there & say that B-hop only beats smaller men.But that's the kind of boxing fans we have today. They're never satisfied with anything other than their favorite fighters beating shot fighters while getting praised or mister not taking a risk, retiring & coming back only when it suites him,his pocket book & Ellerbe.

No, no he doesn't. Pirog is no great champ. If Martinez is the superstar of the division, pirog is still the runt. Dint believe the hype. Martinez would beat him I have no doubt. Its still a good fight tho. And I honestly wish martinet would fight him so that everyone would shut up.

They won't though.Remember Martinez was ducking Kirkland until he got dusted by a fighter with 4 ko's in 20 fights before he met Kirkland.I know that as soon as Martinez mops the floor with Pirog he will then be green & unproven, but what is Martinez supposed to do??He's a fighter in a promoter's sport. The 2 biggest fights are never gonna happen cause the promoters won't let it.Martinez isn't getting any younger & staying on the shelf isn't gonna help him.

He needs to forget about Darren Barker.

Fighting Darren Barker is worse than anything Mayweather and Pacquiao's have done in many years.

He should have fought Geale, Pirgo, or Chavez Jr but since Chavez Jr balls haven't dropped yet and still has a vagina, and Geale also wants an easy title shot before Martinez takes his title by having this ****** ass #1 contenders tournament full of jokes. He should have fought Pirog.

But nooooooooo. He rather chase Cotto, Manny, and Floyd, the smaller fighters. It's like Hopkins vs Oscar except a little worse. And at least Trinidad proved he could fight at 160. Chavez & Martinez trying to blow these welterweights up. Cotto is a natural welterweight I feel he's slow as ***** at 154.
